Index Analyst Intern
The Index Analyst intern will support in the maintenance and development of the Euronext Index methodologies, including corporate actions methodology, and will ensure compliance with relevant Index regulations and market practices. The candidate will mainly support with:
• Creation, maintenance and development of Index Rules and methodologies
• Analyzing and deciding on the treatment of complex Corporate Actions in Indices
• External client consultations on Index Rules
• Reporting on Index Activities for internal senior management and regulators

The internship will run for a duration of at least six months.
Code and deployment quality are important to overall quality of the software. Our team developed tools that give insights relative to the code base stored in “git” to an ELK cluster. The tooling is made in Python and bash and should be upgraded to a newer version Python and ‘pip’. Additionally, we developed tools around our business dictionary to produce code, present it; link it to the applicative needs, and we’d like to improve this to help with impact assessments.
The apprenticeship will mix several technologies, including Python, Java, Bash scripting, potentially SQL. We'll push data to ELK clusters and Victoria Metrics (same protocol as InfluxDB)

Key Accountabilities
The VIE is part of the Listing Admission team located on different locations (Oslo, Amsterdam, Dublin and Paris) and operating in different markets and locations (Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon, London, Oslo and Paris).
The VIE, under the responsibility of the Admission Managers, will be located in Oslo and will handle the admission process of IPOs in all Euronext markets (in collaboration with the rest of the team). The VIE will have the mission of improving the admission process by educating and advising our business partners and clients on the Euronext rules, existing regulations and technical possibilities. She/He will also be involved in the simplification and of harmonization the admission process across all locations. Finally, the VIE will be in charge of liaising and collaborating with intermediaries on specific admissions and rules and regulations.
The VIE main tasks will be to:
Assess companies applying for an initial admission of equity securities on an Euronext market and execute the transaction. The review includes preparing a recommendation to the Euronext Listing Board to accept/refuse the listing, communicating to the stakeholders
Take part in kick-off meetings with prospects (C-level) and intermediaries applying for new equity listings
Assess companies applying for an accreditation as Listing sponsor/Growth advisors
Educate and support local Listing Euronext’s business partners on Euronext’s listing rules/regulations
Improving and harmonizing the admission process across all locations
Contribute to the annual Issuers and Listing Sponsors/Growth Advisors reviews

Within the Risk & Compliance department, a team of more than 40 talented professionals in Risk, BCM and Compliance, spread across our various geographies, is ensuring to preserve the value assets and reputation of the company. Identifying and assessing risks, implementing mitigation actions, informing and raising staff and business awareness, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulations are the core activities embedded in our team.
In this department, Operational Risk & Business Continuity Magement team is covering the second line of risk for IT, Cybersecurity, HR, Procurement and other transversal departments, as well as maintaining the appropriate Business Continuity maturity in the group. The stakeholders are located in all Euronext entities (Paris, Porto, Milan, Oslo, New York, Dublin, Copenhagen…).
Your role as IT and Cybersecurity Risk Officer
Working as IT and Cybersecurity Risk Officer, the successful candidate will be engaged in all areas of the business part of Euronext group and will focus in IT and CyberSecurity risks across the Group.
He/She will advise on the cybersecurity risk strategy aligned with the overall Group strategy under the Euronext Group CISO and global IT risk strategy under the Euronext Group COO / leadership.
He/She will be involved in the monitoring of the Information Security practice across the organisation, challenging the strategies, roadmap and implementation as well as reporting on IT and Cybersecurity risk, in relation to cyber legislation, market security best practices and landscape threat analysis.
He/She will also have a key role on aligning BCM strategy and deliverables with IT practise to ensure building an coherent and synchronised approach in terms of critical asset and resiliency test.
The candidate need to have a strong technical security background and will work closely with Group CISO and work alongside other information security and IT teams at the Euronext Group. Key accountabilities
• Review and advise on the “Definition, Implementation and maintenance of the Information Security Programme” made by the Cyber Group team under Euronext Group CISO.
• Review and advise on the internal security practices with industry best practices and security frameworks commensurate with strategy and the expectations of our clients and regulators. The implementation is made by the cybersecurity teams.
• Coordinate risk management works for IT and InfoSec departments, supporting in assessing and managing the risk with key stakeholders in the departments.
• Produce risk profile and report on the second line of defence opinion on cybersecurity risk and cybersecurity and IT governance model, presenting these to senior managers as required.
• Assist in the development, management and monitoring of IT and cybersecurity key risk indicators across Euronext

Your profile

The Business Internal Auditor is part of the Euronext Internal Audit Team located in Paris, Porto, Oslo and Milan and covering the entire group i.e. all locations and all entities.
Specifically, he/she, under the responsibility of the local internal audit responsible, will be located in Milan and will be considered as a member of the Euronext Internal Audit Team.
In this sense he/she will support to the execution of the audit plan and the department’s internal initiatives and projects. This implies:
