In Euronext Risk Management team we're looking for a 9 months parental leave cover, preferably starting Sept. 1st 2023.  In this role you will support our Head of Risk to follow up Euronext Securities Oslo risk management activities, including reporting to internal and external stakeholders. You will support our organization in proper operational risk management practices, in order to avoid threats (financial losses, reputational damage, service failures or compliance breaches) and to strike the right balance in pursue of business opportunities.

Key accountabilities

  • Contribute to ensure proper operational risk management activities in line with internal and external requirements and expectations from management and relevant stakeholders including the national financial authority and the central bank;

  • Assist in performing 2nd line of defense's independent risk assessments for business activities and projects and in developing and monitoring of key risk indicators;

  • Support the proper risk management reporting to senior management, CSD (central securities depository) Risk Committee and Board of Directors.


Your profile

  • Master degree is required. Degrees in economics or engineering is preferred

  • 2 to 3 years of experience, with previous operational risk management demonstrated

  • Knowledge of risk management best practices and standards/ frameworks like COSO ERM

  • Ability to discuss and challenge a risk in an approachable manner

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels including senior executives, external stakeholders and authorities, both orally and in writing

  • Support commercial efforts (prospection via email and Sales Navigator, phoning, support the Sales team to respond the request for proposal, draw up quotation)
  • Support the Marketing (produce competitive Analysis, create new sales content , create new campaign or new sequences to improve the lead generation strategy, translation of existing content)
  • Handle Onboarding process (creation of documents for new joiners, onboarding programme for the new sales members, and train the team on Hubspot, Pandadoc and the value proposition)

  • Acts as an internal consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms, and vendor offerings to drive targeted business outcomes.
  • Takes ownership of Euronext Corporate Services global application landscape, building and maintaining benchmarks, metrics, standards definitions, and reference models to ensure the landscape adheres to the transformational needs of the organization.
  • Work closely with the Product and Innovation team to identify product priorities, translate business strategy into an architectural blueprint to achieve the business objectives.
  • Define and develop the best architecture models and roadmaps of application and software components to meet business and technical requirements, driving common usability across products and domains.
  • Take a hands-on approach to complete proofs-of-concept, work with software engineers to design and engineer complex software, scripts, and tools to enable the delivery of solutions.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience

  • BSc (Engineering, Computer Science or related) required, MSc or above preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting solution
  • Experience in implementing solutions using the Cloud platform, services, and tools.
  • Demonstrable relevant industry experience working in development and integration of large-scale solutions involving multiple technologies, functions and interfaces across in-house
  • and vendor-supplied systems
  • Deep practical knowledge of software engineering, applications and IT Infrastructure
  • Good understanding of strategic and new and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing, new and emerging technologies to new and evolving business
  • and operating models
  • Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, resilient and secure application
  • Experience designing Software as a Service applications, leveraging one of the major cloud providers (AWS or Azure) and micro-services architecture
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of programming and data analysis and good understanding of business processes
  • Web, mobile and e-commerce applications experience is a plus
  • Exposure and working level knowledge of working with and interfacing to global delivery teams
  • Excellent English communication and executive level presentation skills
  • Any cloud providers solution architecture certificate is a plus
