The grand room in Anglesea Street, the Market Floor, was always known as ‘the room’ by traders who carried out their daily trading there for almost a century. With the advent of electronic trading in June 2000, and no longer enjoying the hustle and bustle of traders, it is now used as a meeting and events space.

Theatre style The room can accommodate up to 80 people in a theatre-style layout, perfect for conferences, panels or workshops.
Cabaret style
The round table layout can host up to 60 people and is ideal for dinners, presentation events, galas and evening training seminars
Boardroom style
Up to 24 people can be accommodated in the boardroom layout, which is perfect for smaller meetings. Catering for breakfast and lunch can be arranged in the room.
