Members of the Board of Directors elected at the AGM
Audun Bo, Chairman
Audun Bø (born 1962) was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Euronext Securities Copenhagen and Oslo in September 2024.
Audun Bø served as CEO of Euronext Securities Oslo (2017-2022) and Chairman of Nordic Credit Rating AS and Euronext Securities in both Oslo and Copenhagen. He was previously CEO of Orkla Finans and Elkem Energi Handel, as well as Executive Vice President at Eika Gruppen (2011-2017). He held senior roles at DNB, including Head of DNB Markets (1997-2001), and served on the board of Verdipapirsentralen ASA (2007-2017).
Bø also has extensive board experience with Orkla, DNB, Eika, and ESO, and chaired fintech company ZTL Payment Solutions AS.
Audun Bø holds a Siviløkonom degree from Handelshøyskolen in Gothenburg and has completed management and board training at IMD and the Scandinavian Executive Institute/Insead.
Pierre Davoust
Pierre Davoust joined Euronext in 2019 as Head of Business Development. Pierre is a Non-Executive Director of Tokeny Solutions, a Luxembourg-based tokenization venture.
Before joining Euronext, Pierre was Head of Markets at SETL, a UK-based blockchain company focusing on financial services, Chief Executive Officer of Iznes, a mutual fund distribution platform and Non-Executive Director of ID2S, a blockchain-based Central Securities Depository controlled by Orange.
Prior to that, Pierre held various positions at the French Treasury, and served in particular as deputy head of financial markets.
Pierre holds Master’s degrees from Ecole Polytechnique, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech and Paris School of Economics.
Jan W. Andersen
Jan joined the Board of Directors of VP Securities in 2017.
Jan continued as an independent board member under the new Euronext Group ownership from 2020. Jan is also represented in the Risk and Audit Board Committees of Euronext CSD`s. He is the Chair of the Euronext Securities Copenhagen Risk Committee.
In his daily business Jan has a long career with AL Bank Denmark where today he is the vice CEO. During his 45 years at AL Bank Jan has spent 15 years as Head of Markets thus being close to the trading and post trade processes and services offered by Euronext today.
Aisling McArdle
Aisling McArdle currently serves as the Group Head of Primary Market Admissions in Euronext, overseeing the admission to listing and trading of financial instruments on Euronext markets for Equity, Debt and Funds asset classes
Aisling joined Euronext Dublin in 2002 and has held a variety of roles within the company. She became Head of Admissions in January 2021, having previously held the role of Head of Regulation, Dublin & London. Prior to this, Aisling held a number of positions in Primary Markets and contributed significantly to the growth of Euronext Dublin’s successful Debt Listing business. During her time in Euronext, she has handled a wide range of regulatory, managerial, and operational responsibilities.
She participates on the European Corporate Governance Network and is a Licentiate of the Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland.
René Stockner, PhD, MsC.
René was elected to the Board of Directors in 2017
Previously, René served as a non-executive director of NNIT A/S and was a Microsoft General Manager and later CEO of Excitor A/S, provider of security solutions for remote workers and mobile devices.
René started his career at IBM before joining Danish ERP software provider, Navision A/S, to build its business in the US and was head of Global Operations, when the company was sold to Microsoft. René holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree from the Technical University of Denmark.
