In details, key responsibilities comprise:

  • Management of a growing Communication / Investor Relations / other type of service-heavy company;
  • Animation of the management team of Company Webcast, which includes for now three people spearheading Sales, Operations and Technology. There are in addition other direct reports to the Managing Director to be animated ;
  • Hiring of talents to populate rapidly-growing teams at Company Webcast;
  • Execute on the very ambitious international expansion plan currently ongoing (4 webcast studios to be opened in 2022) ;
  • Develop a product vision for Company Webcast, with a constant monitoring of industry developments and innovative ideas for the technology platform and beyond ;
  • Permanently rejuvenating the vision for Company Webcast as an increasingly dominant player in the Communication industry in Europe. This includes (i) competition monitoring, (ii) networking and brand awareness building and (iii) challenging existing business model and offering ;
  • Progression of all integration-related streams into Euronext (Finance, HR, Legal etc.) and Euronext Corporate Services (Marketing, Technology etc.) ;
  • Handling of back-office tasks and processes to manage the legal entity and their employees correctly. Part of it is dealt with together with external advisors (e.g. accounting) or central functions at Euronext (e.g. HR) ;
  • Active participation in the management of the Euronext Corporate Services business. This is a leadership role in the wider Euronext environment than Company Webcast only, with regular exposure to the top management of the group.

Operations Manager Northern Europe

The Operations Manager Northern Europe will be part of the operational management team of Company Webcast. You will report to the Head of Operations, acting as the managerial line for the Northern European countries we will be expanding to. Your peers will include the operational managers responsible for regions South and well as Central Facilities, as well as intensive crossdepartmental collaboration with Sales, Product and Technology. Company Webcast is on an exciting growth journey. We are on a mission to become number one in professional webinars and webcasts in Europe and we are expanding into new countries. We are transitioning in various ways, from SME to MNC and from client facilitator to full-option client consultant. Our business pace is fast -matching the ambitious objectives we have set- and you will play a key role in these deliverables especially on team management and evolution. As the Operations Manager Northern Europe, you will be managing the operational teams in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the Nordics with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Managing Production teams and Event management teams for all countries in scope (>20p).

• Establishing clear and transparent dashboards based on various metrics. • Defining a uniform way of working throughout Europe (in collaboration with the Operations Manager Southern Europe and local coordinators) whilst defining local needs and nuances.

• Set up & implement various SOPs and dashboards, ensuring usage trainings and follow ups. • Translating these dashboards into cohesive KPI’s for all respective teams. • Developing both personal based on the future objectives of the company, incl. performance reviews. • Developing team development plans with the objective in taking the teams to the next level in terms of respective specialisms. • Be the go-to for operational needs and interdepartmental collaboration for the respective scope.

Your profile

You have a solid background in managing teams from various international backgrounds and countries and are energized by developing these teams to the next level. You have a solid background in setting up and delivering large scale projects throughout Europe and know how to navigate cultural differences . You have higher level education (Bachelor and up) and are used to communicating with various stakeholders including C-level. Most importantly; you know the impact of a positive atmosphere and are keen on cracking a joke (or two :))

Hard skills

• Organizational skills that translate into clear project charters, dashboards and forecasts through MS Office or other PMO tools.

• You have worked within technological settings, and either have experience with AV or other related technical subject matters

• You are well versed in Change Management tools

• Preferably LSS green belt or up

• Fluent in English, additional European languages are a big plus.

Soft skills

• Positive mindset, being able to engage with others through enthusiasm. You understand the transition phase we are in and have experience with Change Management.

Key Accountabilities

  • Een gedegen voorbereiding van de Webcast. Dit betekent controleren of de medewerkers van de klant de Webcast op de juiste manier hebben aangemaakt en of alle informatie beschikbaar is. Daarnaast controleer je of er een internetverbinding actief is en of er beeld en geluid is. Mochten hier problemen aan het licht komen dan kan je terugvallen op onze support afdeling met technische experts;

  • Het bedienen van de Webcast. Hiermee bedoelen wij het starten, meeklikken van actieve agendapunten en sprekers, commentaar ingeven tijdens een schorsing en het stoppen van een Webcast;

  • Mochten er tijdens een live-uitzending problemen zijn dan stel je de medewerkers van de klant op hun gemak en neem je contact op met onze support afdeling om te zien of het probleem is op te lossen. Communiceer proactief met de medewerkers van de klant zodat zij weten wat de status is;

  • Opbouwen van een professionele relatie met de medewerkers van de klant zodat je een bekend en vertrouwd gezicht wordt.

For our studio in the heart of Brussels we are looking for a Webcast Engineer who is ready to rock the webcast industry!

What are you going to do?

You will ensure that the productions of various kind of events runs smoothly from a technical point of view.

What does that mean?

These are some of the tasks that will come with the job:

Productions

  • Controlling a wide range of technology during studio productions
  • Preparing and overviewing technical challenges, while keeping it cool
  • Installing and handling materials during on-premise productions
  • Providing technical support to the Project Managers during the run-up to the webcast
  • Doing location checks to see whether the available equipment and technical infrastructure are sufficient to provide a live broadcast

Studio management

  • Proper maintenance of all equipment and making sure that all systems are always ready to run the show
  • Managing our studio location like a boss
  • Taking care of small fixes on faulty equipment
  • Installing exciting new equipment to improve the quality of your webcasts
  • Keeping the administration up to date of all technical knowledge, using our Confluence space
  • Showing involvement by suggesting novelties to improve the beauty of our product
  • Helping international production colleagues that need your expertise

Implementation

  • Installation of our webcast equipment at self-service client locations
  • Giving hands-on support and basic training to clients

Planning

  • Converting workload to planning, using our planning tool Rentman
  • Collaboration with our freelance poule of technicians and directors and keeping them updated about any changes on studio equipment or settings
  • Searching for new freelancers to enlarge the poule if needed

What do you bring?

Knowledge and experience with technology and absolute passion for AV are the most important qualities we look for. If you'd rather have a specific list of “requirements”, check the list below:

  • At least a completed TSO/BSO education or comparable
  • Demonstrable technical work experience within the AV or ICT sector
  • Knowledge of Microsoft environment and network management
  • Driving license B

Operations Manager Southern Europe

The Operations Manager Southern Europe will be part of the operational management team of Company Webcast. You will report to the Head of Operations, acting as the managerial line for the Southern European countries we will be expanding to. Your peers will include the operational managers responsible for regions North and well as Central Facilities,  as well as intensive cross-departmental collaboration with Sales, Product and Technology.

Company Webcast is on an exciting growth journey. We are on a mission to become number one in professional webinars and webcasts in Europe and we are expanding into new countries. We are transitioning in various ways, from SME to MNC and from client facilitator to full-option client consultant. Our business pace is fast -matching the ambitious objectives we have set- and you will play a key role in these deliverables especially on team management and evolution.

As the Operations Manager Southern Europe, you will  be managing the operational teams in France, Italy,  Spain and Portugal (the latter 2 not operational yet) with responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

  • Managing Production teams and Event management teams for all countries in scope (>15-20p).
  • Establishing clear and transparent dashboards based on various metrics.
  • Defining a uniform way of working throughout Europe (in collaboration with the Operations Manager Northern Europe) whilst defining local needs and nuances.
  • Set up & implement various SOPs and dashboards, ensuring usage trainings and follow ups.

  • Translating these dashboards into cohesive KPI’s for all respective teams.
  • Developing both personal as team development plans based on the future objectives of the company.
  • Be the go-to for operational needs and interdepartmental collaboration for the respective scope.

Your profile

You have a solid background in managing teams from various international backgrounds and countries and are energized by developing these teams to the next level. You have a solid background in setting up and delivering projects throughout Europe and know how to navigate cultural differences . You have higher level education (Bachelor and up) and are used to communicating with various stakeholders including C-level. Most importantly; you know the impact of a positive atmosphere and are keen on cracking a joke (or two :))

Hard skills

  • Organizational skills that translate into clear project charters, dashboards and forecasts through MS Office or other PMO tools.
  • You have worked within technological settings, and either have experience with AV or other related technical subject matters
  • You are well versed in Change Management tools
  • Preferably  LSS green belt or up
  • Fluent in English, additional European languages are a big plus.

Soft skills

  • Positive mindset, being able to engage with others through enthusiasm. You understand the transition phase we are in and have experience with Change Management.
  • Hands-on mentality, rolling up your sleeves to get the job done where needed.
  • You are a born communicator, and know how to translate intricate information into compact messages.

You like to engage with everyone, keeping your finger on the pulse of what’s going on in the organization and making sure everyone stays informed.
