Kids board of advice Lolo’s opens trading day with Albert Heijn
Since the start of selling in retail exclusively for Albert Heijn in February, the brand has already been able to give more than 14.000 meals to the poorest children of the townships in South Africa. To celebrate this wonderful achievement, Lolo’s will open the trading day with their partner retailer Albert Heijn.
Lolo’s Lolo’s believes that kids deserve good food. With this in mind, the startup develops healthy kids snacks and cereal. All products of Lolo’s are 100% natural, contain no added sugar and are completely organic. In June 2018 Lolo’s was part of the finals of the Albert Heijn product pitch. After this event, the brand deserved a spot in the shelves of the retailer of the Netherlands; Albert Heijn. For each box sold, the brand gives a nutritious meal to an underprivileged child in South Africa.
‘We believe kids deserve good food, anywhere in the world. With our one for one program we can really make a difference in the lives of many children.’ Says Lysanne Denneboom, co-founder of Lolo’s.
Lolo’s is being run by not only the management but also by a group of honest children that together form the Kids board of advice. Twelve kids help the brand with all the steps in the process. They have decided on the choice between various products to introduce. The kids help in all the events that the company is part of.
