Gong ceremony – Launch of AEX® ESG Index

As of today, investors can invest in the AEX® ESG Index. This latest addition to the AEX Indices Family identifies the 25 companies from the AEX® and AMX® Indices that are the best rated in the field of ESG (Environment, Social and Governance). It is the fourth ESG Index to be launched by Euronext in a short period of time. With the launch of this new ESG Index, Euronext is responding to the growing demand for sustainable investment instruments among investors and the market in general. To mark this launch, representatives of the AEX Steering Committee, Eumedion, NNIP, APT, Sustainalytics and Euronext sounded the gong this morning in the presence of Simone Huis in ‘t Veld (CEO of Euronext Amsterdam) and René van Vlerken (Head of Listings Euronext Amsterdam).
