Euronext Group consists of a number of stock exchanges, central securities depositories and other companies worldwide. Euronext Securities Oslo is the central securities depository in Norway and is one of four central securities depositories in Euronext together with VP Securities in Denmark, Interbolsa in Portugal and Monte Titoli in Italy.

The IT department designs and implements new functionalities and oversees production of associated documentation to support delivery of all core trading applications used to run Euronext markets, international markets and MTFs.

Key accountabilities:

As a software developer, you will:
• Implement in coding the most complex components in new functionalities
• Design performance critical subsystems
• Produce clear and accurate documentation relative to implemented code
• Work with other teams on overall trading system design
• Contribute to projects addressing challenging subjects linked to new functionalities

Your profile
• Proficient in designing and developing with C++ using templates
• Other programming languages expertise like Java and Python are a plus
• Sound understanding of Linux operating systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience leveraging modern technologies such as the following to help us design and build our future:
Go, JavaScript, Scala, NodeJS, HTML5, Mobile
Data Science, Machine Learning, Big Data, Streaming, Data Analytics

As an IT Engineer, you will:
• Provide innovative solutions to enable industrialization, improve productivity, efficiency and time-to-market
• Use expertise in IT project delivery (project management, architecture, design, development and operations) to deliver critical in-house solutions required by IT and Business departments
• Coordinate process improvement, re-engineering and solutions designs to respond to the development identified during reviews.
• Ensure code and design system architectures are developed to define user compatibility

Your profile
• In-depth technical knowledge in one or several of the following field of expertise:
• Security knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and supporting infrastructure elements,
DevOps (implementation of Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment),
IaaS production environments (systems, networks, End User Computing…)
• Experience in managing and delivering software or infrastructure development projects
• Experience in process improvement, re-engineering and root-cause analysis/resolution
• Flexibility and ability to work in environments with changing priorities

The legal department supports the different internal departments and subsidiaries on existing and upcoming legal or regulatory issues. 

Key accountabilities

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will:
• Contribute to the development of Euronext’s legal framework and policies in relation to regulatory and legal matters (business law, contractual law, corporate law, Intellectual property law, competition law).
• Review the terms of business for Euronext’s regulated products / services and update these to ensure they are compliant with regulatory laws and the commercial requirements of Euronext.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of regulatory enforcement policy, procedures and guidance.
• Assess and respond to information and concerns and/or issues raised by market participants, investors and other stakeholders.

Your profile
• Ability to maintain excellent relationships with colleagues in other business areas, external bodies and key stakeholders such as senior management, external legal counsel and other relevant regulators.
• Ability to analyse evidence to form a view on whether a regulatory/legal breach has occurred, what action to take, what further evidence may be needed and how this evidence might be obtained.
• Ability to apply legal analysis in principle to real life scenarios.

Key accountabilities
• Ensure the delivery of settlement, custody, asset and fiscal services and support the management and control of the physical securities registered in Centralized Securities System and their safeguarding according to best international practices
• Support the development and implementation of more automated and digitized services at the Central Securities Depository.
• Ensure that user acceptance testing of all the IT system updates and improvements regarding physical securities services takes place.
• Develop and the execute annual custody business plans and coordinate of activities with senior management in other areas of the organization.
• Provide information to Issuers and Financial Intermediaries and represent Euronext internally and externally.
• Contribute to operoperational enhancements to streamline workflow and provide better support to frontline business units
• Drives continuous improvement of process and assess and select improvement opportunities that provide long-term value and minimize operational risks

• In-depth knowledge of CSD Business operations
• Strong knowledge of industry market standards and business workflows in the securities services space
• Proven team leadership, communication and project management skills - ability to monitor
