Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets?

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join the Settlement & Tax team. The position will be based in Copenhagen, and start as soon as possible. You will report to the Engineering Manager, Alican Met.


You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Developing, testing and maintaining high-quality backend services using Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
  • Designing and implementing scalable, event-driven architectures
  • Building and integrating RESTful APIs aligned with OpenAPI standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and system enhancements
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application issues, ensuring optimal performance and responsiveness
  • Writing clean, maintainable and testable code following best practices
  • Participating in code reviews and sharing knowledge with team members
  • Supporting unit testing and continuous integration pipelines
  • Using GIT for version control and team collaboration
  • Contributing to our observability setup (experience with OpenTelemetry is a plus)
  • Creating and maintaining clear technical documentation

Your profile:

  • Strong foundation in software engineering principles (e.g. Clean Code, SOLID, basic Domain-Driven Design)
  • Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs using Java or Kotlin
  • Familiarity with event-driven systems; experience with Kafka is a strong plus
  • Proficiency in GIT and test-driven development
  • Knowledge of or interest in observability practices (e.g. logs, metrics, tracing)
  • Experience with Quarkus or similar frameworks is highly desirable
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • At least five years of relevant experience in backend development
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Excellent communication skills in English

Join Euronext Securities Oslo as a Client Services Manager in our Nordic Client Services team. You will assist banks and institutions leveraging our financial market infrastructure and become part of an international environment, gaining a network within the major Norwegian banks and a deeper understanding of how we connect European economies to global capital markets.

You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Acting as the first line of operational support for clients, serving as their entry point for day-to-day guidance on systems and processes

  • Managing clients’ queries efficiently within agreed deadlines

  • Addressing queries requiring further support by liaising with internal teams and ensuring valid answers are provided

  • Tracking all queries and responses through the selected CRM tool

  • Organising and participating in client meetings

  • Collaborating with team members and the Sales team to enhance client experience

  • Contributing to the management of incidents impacting clients

  • Analysing query statistics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in client relationships

Your profile

  • Take pride in providing excellent service to clients

  • Knowledge of or interest in the post-trade industry

  • Desire and capacity to learn various aspects of financial infrastructure

  • Bacehlor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field

  • Experience in client service or similar roles dealing with clients is an advantage

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player

  • Comfortable with dynamic workdays and able to adapt to changing priorities

  • Fluent in Norwegian and English; understanding of Danish is a plus
