Euronext Amsterdam

Key accountabilities

Proactive client and account management of a selection of current issuers and create cross sell opportunities for Corporate Services and Bond listings;

• Managing all business development and generation of new business opportunities, including IPO’s, (ESG) bond offerings and related instruments, supported  by the Head of Listing Benelux and CEO Euronext Amsterdam;

• Project management and execution of the IPO Days, IPO-ready programs in Amsterdam and Germany/CEE and the development of local initiatives that relate to our Tech Leaders segment;

• Co-development and execution a business strategy for the cross-border/international listings;

• Building and development a relevant network with all key business partners of our Listing department in Amsterdam;

• Representing Euronext Amsterdam locally and stand visible in the relevant networks. Further improve visibility and the profile of Euronext in the Netherlands.

Additionally, the Listing Director will work in close collaboration with our global Primary Markets team, as well as with the relevant departments within Euronext Amsterdam and representatives of other departments including Euronext Securities.

Your profile

• At least 7 years relevant client-facing and commercial experience required.

• Understanding & experience of and interest in the dynamics and mechanics of the European capital market is essential.

• Knowledge & expertise in capital markets, products/services across listing value chain, as well as trends in post-trade.

• Successful track record of performance in equity/debt sales, investor relations and/or ECM advisory.

• Proven track record of commercial relationship management on senior management or C-level.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Test Analyst to join our team that designs trading platforms in the Fixed Income area. Excellent analytical skills, curiosity, availability, result orientation and a strong motivation are required. He/she will be responsible for designing and executing manual test cases, as well as supporting and managing automated test cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test the functionalities, usability, security and performance of financial software applications, platforms and systems

Primary Markets

The Primary Markets department covering Equity, Debt and Funds securities is notably in charge of the business relationship with listed companies and those considering an IPO on Euronext markets. Our mission is to promote Euronext markets, explain the benefits of listing to business leaders, and help companies make the best possible use of financial markets once publicly listed. In addition, we support funding mechanics by creating and promoting new services and financing instruments, fostering the development and growth of the pool of investors active on Euronext markets, and actively promoting transparent public markets with stakeholders in the financial industry and with public authorities.

Key Accountabilities

• Within the Primary Markets department, the Business Development team is the focal point for providing business intelligence and driving strategic projects for all Euronext listing venues.

• You will be responsible for analyzing market trends, conducting equity and debt capital markets research, competitive benchmarking, drafting updates to senior management, and creating actionable business intelligence to support both sales teams across Europe and fuel new strategic developments.

• You will contribute to the identification of prospects and create pitches to attract international issuers to Euronext listing venues.

• Taking part in the team's effort, you will also help bolster the team's research capacities by contributing to know-how and content on specific sectors and/or topics related to equity and debt capital markets.

Key accountabilities

• Within the Primary Markets department, the Equity Listing team sets strategic priorities and delivers associated projects, leads regulatory engagement, and is responsible for financial results of the Equity Listing business line across our markets, in close cooperation with the business development and sales teams.
• Reporting to the Equity Listing Associate, the Equity Listing Analyst will be contribute to designing and delivering initiatives / projects to enhance Euronext’s value proposition and its position as a key listing venue among global exchanges, in cooperation with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Such initiatives / projects may include, but are not limited to: (i) reinforcing Euronext listing franchise leading position focusing on Tech companies,  SMEs and ESG-related topics; (ii) enhancing the commercial coverage model and the value proposition towards existing and prospective issuers; (iii) optimising the end-to-end customer experience for listed companies at various touchpoints and in collaboration with other client-facing teams; (iv) improving the visibility and attractivity of Euronext as a listing venue to firms inside and outside Euronext’s core geographies; (v) harmonising regulatory frameworks and advocating for adequate rules, measures and initiatives to reinforce European equity capital markets competitiveness and attractiveness.
• Importantly, the Equity Listing Analyst will fuel the Equity Listing business line’s efforts in anticipating market trends and competitors’ moves and in identifying new commercial opportunities, hence contributing to the group-wide strategic planning effort.
• On an ad hoc basis, he/she will also support the listing sales teams in their commercial strategy and in addressing high-stake prospects, clients or partners.

Your profile

• Master degree, ideally in business, finance, engineering or political science from a top tier institution.
• 1-3 years of successful experience, ideally in a strategy consulting firm and/or investment bank, or in a demanding position in the wider financial services industry and/or in a large corporate.
