1-year anniversary of the Euronext Tech Leaders

Euronext Tech Leaders is an initiative launched last year by Euronext and is dedicated to high-growth and leading technology companies. Tech leaders complements Euronext's current technology offering and aims to strengthen the European technology sector. Today, the Euronext Tech Leaders segment welcomes 15 new companies from across Europe as part of its 2023 annual review.

The Dutch partners involved in this initiative were invited to celebrate this occasion with a traditional Gong Ceremony.

They were welcomed by René van Vlerken, Head of Listing of Euronext Amsterdam, to celebrate this milestone.

BlackRock 25 years in the Netherlands

BlackRock has been operating as an asset manager for organisations, ranging from retail investors to large institutions, in the Netherlands for 25 years. To celebrate this milestone, Christian Hyldahl, BlackRock's Head of Continental Europe, sounded the gong.

Launch international ELITE growth programme for Dutch SMEs

The gong was sounded on the occasion of the launch of the ELITE programme in the Netherlands, in collaboration with three leading Dutch partners: the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship (ECE), ScaleUp Company and NLgroeit. ELITE is a multi-day programme aimed at helping founders and directors of growth-stage companies with revenues of €10 to €100 million to achieve sustainable growth in private and public capital markets.

Euronext acquired ELITE as part of its acquisition of the Borsa Italiana Group in 2021 and has since been strongly committed to expanding the growth programme in Euronext countries as part of Euronext's "Growth for Impact 2024" strategic plan. The roll-out of the growth programme in the Dutch market follows the successful launch of the programme in Portugal earlier this year.

Representatives of ELITE and the Dutch partners were welcomed by Simone Huis in 't Veld, CEO at Euronext Amsterdam.

Cabka celebrates 1-year listing at Euronext Amsterdam

Manuel Beja, Chairman of Cabka's Supervisory Board, sounded the Gong this morning on the occasion of the company’s first listing anniversary.

Cabka, which specialises in the manufacturing of recycled plastic pallets and large containers, listed on 1 March 2022 after a successful acquisition by the SPAC, Dutch Star Companies Two.

Euronext Amsterdam and ABN Amro - Research presentation on 'Drivers of Young Investors'

The number of Dutch young adults that privately invest is increasing. With the emergence of new types of assets (cryptos, NFTs) and new channels (online finfluencers), it is very important that established parties continue to connect with the next generation of investors.

Commissioned by Euronext Amsterdam and ABN AMRO, research agency Beautiful Lives conducted research into the motives of young investors.

Dirk Donker, Head of Retail Services at Euronext Amsterdam, received the experts involved in the research this morning for a traditional Gong ceremony, after which the research results were published.
