ICGN Summer Conference 2026

As part of the ICGN Summer Conference 2026 in Amsterdam, the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN) sounded the Gong at Euronext Amsterdam. The ceremony recognised ICGN’s leadership in advancing global dialogue on corporate governance and investor stewardship.

ICGN’s annual conference convenes investors, policymakers and issuers at a time of significant market and regulatory change. Michael Herskovich, Global Head of Stewardship at BNP Paribas Asset Management, sounded the Gong on behalf of ICGN. Guests were welcomed by René van Vlerken, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam.

FiscAlert viert 30-jarig bestaan

Deze maand viert FiscAlert het 30-jarig bestaan, een mijlpaal die werd gemarkeerd met het luiden van de gong deze ochtend. Sinds de oprichting in 1995 is FiscAlert uitgegroeid tot hét platform voor financiële doe-het-zelvers die hun geldzaken en belastingen goed op orde willen hebben. 

De gongslag werd verricht door Marcel Piket, mede-eigenaar en hoofdredacteur bij FiscAlert. Het gezelschap werd ontvangen door Annette Kiese, Head of Group Tax bij Euronext.

Euronext feliciteert Nearfield met zijn nieuwe status als ‘unicorn’

Vanmorgen organiseerde Euronext Amsterdam een speciale Gong Ceremonie ter ere van Nearfield Instruments. Na de grootste investeringsronde in de Nederlandse deeptech-sector ($380 miljoen) heeft Nearfield een waardering van $1,6 miljard bereikt en is daarmee uitgegroeid tot een echte ‘unicorn’. Nearfield bouwt meetapparatuur die imperfecties in chips op atomair niveau detecteert – technologie die een cruciaal verschil maakt in de wereldwijde halfgeleiderindustrie. Dit succes bewijst eens te meer dat we hier in Europa bedrijven van wereldklasse kunnen opbouwen en kapitaal van wereldklasse dicht bij huis kunnen realiseren – zonder te hoeven kiezen tussen Europees en mondiaal zijn. Hier bij Euronext zijn we trots op onze sterke banden met Europese bedrijven, en we zullen ervoor blijven zorgen dat ambitieuze bedrijven zoals Nearfield toegang hebben tot alles wat ze nodig hebben om op hun eigen continent te groeien en het voortouw te nemen. Wij feliciteren Nearfield met het zijn van een voorloper in de Nederlandse deeptech-sector. Euronext Corporate Solutions verwelkomt delegatie uit Taiwan

Euronext Corporate Solutions verwelkomde een delegatie van de Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC) en de Taipei Exchange (TPEx) op Beursplein 5. Het bezoek stond in het teken van kennisuitwisseling en het versterken van de relatie tussen de organisaties. Ter gelegenheid van het bezoek vond een traditionele Gong Ceremonie plaats. Dr. Bing-Huei Lin, voorzitter van de Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corporation (TDCC), en Mr. Lih-Chung Chien, Chairman of the Taipei Exchange (TPEx), luidde de Gong. De delegatie werd ontvangen door  Christine van den Bos, Listing Director, Paul Noordam, Senior Sales Manager bij Euronext Amsterdam, en het lokale managementteam van Euronext Corporate Solutions.

Rabobank and Kepler Cheuvreux celebrate 10-year partnership

Rabobank and Kepler Cheuvreux sounded the Gong to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their partnership. Since the start of their collaboration in 2016, the two organisations have built a leading pan-European ECM platform together and completed numerous successful transactions for their clients. Els Kamphof, Member of the Managing Board of Rabobank, had the honour of sounding the Gong, thereby opening the trading day. The ceremony was attended by representatives of Rabobank and Kepler Cheuvreux. Guests were welcomed by Christine van den Bos, Listing Director at Euronext Amsterdam.

Aalberts N.V. viert terugkeer naar de AEX Index

Aalberts N.V. luidde de Gong ter gelegenheid van haar terugkeer naar de AEX Index na zes jaar. De heropname in de index is effectief per 22 juni 2026 en markeert een belangrijke mijlpaal voor de onderneming.

Stéphane Simonetta, CEO van Aalberts N.V., had de eer om de Gong te luiden en opende daarmee de handelsdag. De ceremonie werd bijgewoond door medewerkers en relaties van Aalberts N.V. De gasten werden verwelkomd door Christine van den Bos, Listing Director, en Tom van Burg, Listing Sales Analyst bij Euronext Amsterdam.

Triodos Bank celebrates first anniversary of listing

Triodos Bank is celebrating the first anniversary of its listing on Euronext Amsterdam. To mark this milestone, colleagues from Triodos Bank participating in the Climate Marathon 2026 sounded the Gong. The Climate Marathon raises awareness of climate action and raises funds for nature restoration through Trees for All. Stefanie Snijders, Group Product Manager Mortgages, had the honor of sounding the Gong. Guests were welcomed by René van Vlerken, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam.

IEX Investor Day

IEX, news and content platform for and by investors in the Netherlands, organises the annual IEX Investors’ Day, where private and professional investors come together to gain insights, share knowledge and engage with experts and representatives of listed companies. In the run-up to Investors Day on 19 June, Lauren Booster, Marketing & Communication Manager at IEX, sounded the Gong at Euronext Amsterdam. Guests were welcomed by Paul Noordam, and Bas Kortenhoff, senior sales managers at Euronext Amsterdam.

Mutual Fund Investment Association celebrates 15th anniversary

Mutual Fund Investment Association, the association for investment-focused students, sounded the Gong in celebration of its 15th anniversary. For fifteen years, the association has bridged academic theory and the practical world of finance.

Treasurer Tom Arends had the honour of sounding the Gong, thereby opening the trading day. The ceremony was attended by members of the association’s investment fund. Guests were welcomed by Marianne Aalders, communication manager at Euronext Amsterdam.

ASR viert tienjarig beursjubileum

ASR viert dit jaar het tienjarig jubileum van haar beursnotering aan Euronext Amsterdam. Ter gelegenheid van deze mijlpaal heeft Ingrid de Swart, CEO van ASR, de eer om de Gong te luiden en daarmee het startsein te geven voor de handelsdag. De gasten worden verwelkomd door Christine van den Bos, listing director bij Euronext. Het jubileum onderstreept tien jaar groei, vertrouwen en betrokkenheid van ASR op de Nederlandse beurs.

Amsterdam Business Awards Ceremony

Leading up to the Amsterdam Business Awards on 11 June, Euronext Amsterdam welcomes entrepreneurs, investors, innovators and companies who contribute to economic growth, innovation and social impact in the Amsterdam metropolitan region.

The Amsterdam Business Awards are an annual accolade for companies and organisations that progress Amsterdam through innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability and social impact. Established in 2010, the awards have become a leading business distinction within the Amsterdam business community.

Marc Salomon, Dean of the Amsterdam Business School had the honour of sounding the Gong. Guests were welcomed by Han Zwakenberg, Compliance Officer at Euronext Amsterdam.

Euronext Corporate Solutions celebrates the 13th edition of the Ethics & Compliance Observatory

Today, Euronext Corporate Solutions hosted the 13th edition of the Ethics & Compliance Observatory. Valerie van Dam, senior growth marketing manager at Euronext, welcomed the guests as host of the event. Geert Vermeulen, CEO of The Integrity Coordinator, had the honour of sounding the Gong to mark this edition. The compliance community plays an important role in promoting integrity and good governance. This occasion provides an opportunity to strengthen engagement with compliance professionals, exchange perspectives and lay the groundwork for future collaboration.

RTL Z celebrates 25th anniversary

RTL Z is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and marks this special milestone by sounding the Gong. The broadcaster, which has been operating from the Euronext building for many years, celebrates a quarter of a century of financial news and current affairs. Durk Veenstra, stock market commentator at RTLZ, had the honour of sounding the Gong. This anniversary highlights RTL Z’s established role within Dutch financial media. The guests were welcomed by Tjerk de Jong, Team Lead Member Compliance at Euronext Amsterdam.

Singelstaete Vermogensbeheer viert tienjarig jubileum

Singelstaete Vermogensbeheer, een onafhankelijk vermogensbeheerder met kantoren in Breda en Middelburg, viert dit jaar haar tienjarig bestaan. Ter gelegenheid van deze mijlpaal luidde directeur Yvette Elst-Buitendijk de Gong en gaf daarmee het startsein voor de handelsdag. De gasten werden ontvangen door Han Zwakenberg, Post Trade Surveillance Officer bij Euronext Amsterdam. Het jubileum onderstreept tien jaar groei, vertrouwen en betrokkenheid binnen de Nederlandse financiële sector.

Studentenbeleggingsvereniging Duitenberg viert 40-jarig lustrum

Studentenbeleggingsvereniging Duitenberg, de beleggersvereniging van de Universiteit van Twente en Saxion, bestaat dit jaar 40 jaar en viert daarmee haar achtste lustrum. Paul Noordam, Senior Sales manager bij Euronext Amsterdam. verwelkomde de gasten die ter gelegenheid van dit jubileum een bezoek brachten aan Euronext Amsterdam. Met een luide gongslag door Milan den Ouden, Chairman of S.B.V. Duitenberg, werd zowel het jubileum ingeluid als een nieuwe handelsdag op Beursplein 5.

BG SAXO & Euronext: Discovering mini futures on European government bonds

On 28 May 2026, BG SAXO partnered with Euronext to organise an event at Borsa Italiana, welcoming its retail clients.

The event opened with welcome remarks from Fabrizio Testa, CEO and General Manager of Borsa Italiana, and Gian Paolo Bazzani CEO of BG SAXO, live from Palazzo Mezzanotte.

The programme featured a series of insightful discussions, starting with an introduction to Euronext mini bond futures and the most recent product launches by Eleonora Raffaelli, Senior Director Sales Derivatives & ETF at Euronext. This was followed by an in-depth look at the renewed momentum in fixed income markets in today’s evolving macroeconomic environment by Althea Spinozzi, Institutional Client Portfolio Manager at Capital Four. The session concluded with a macro analysis of equity markets and their correlation with bonds by Ruben Dalfovo, Investment Strategist at Saxo Bank and BG SAXO.

By combining flexibility, cash settlement, and unparalleled access to European sovereign bonds, Euronext’s product suite provides investors with effective tools to hedge interest rate risk and gain exposure to major EU government bond markets.

SEB verwelkomt grote Noord-Europese delegatie bij Euronext Amsterdam

SEB, een Noord-Europese financiële dienstverlener, ontvangt deze week tijdens een jaarlijkse conferentie een Scandinavische zakelijke delegatie te op Beursplein 5. SEB organiseert deze bezoeken al enkele jaren in verschillende steden over de hele wereld. De delegatie bestaat uit financiële executives van enkele van de grootste Scandinavische bedrijven.  

Jörgen Sjöström, Client Executive bij SEB in Amsterdam, had de eer om de Gong te luiden.  

De groep werd verwelkomd door René van Vlerken, CEO van Euronext Amsterdam.

Studenten Finance & Control van Saxion bezoeken Euronext Amsterdam

Vandaag brachten studenten van de opleiding Finance & Control van Hogeschool Saxion, van de locaties Enschede en Deventer, in het kader van hun studieprogramma een bezoek aan Euronext Amsterdam. Het bezoek stond in het teken van financiën, governance en de werking van financiële markten. Doel is om de studenten meer inzicht te geven in de Nederlandse kapitaalmarkt en de cruciale rol van de beurs.

De groep werd verwelkomd door Paul Noordam, Senior Sales Manager bij Euronext Amsterdam. Het bezoek werd gemarkeerd met een traditionele Gongceremonie, uitgevoerd door Djordy Jonkers, student van de opleiding Finance & Control aan de Saxion University of Applied Sciences.
