Job Description Summary

The Software Developer/QA Engineer - Trainee is part of the Information Technology job family providing end-to-end technology across Euronext business.

Information Technology has a core responsibility for developing, supporting  and protecting the key trading applications, but also for managing Data Center and protecting Euronext systems from cyber-attacks and data theft.

Purpose of the Role

We are currently seeking to recruit an intern Software Developer/QA Engineer on Euronext Corporate Functions QA Team.

This is a great opportunity to gain professional experience and develop skills in .NET and .NET Core enterprise development, MVC/REST/WebAPI/Azure Services/Azure Funtions/ in an Agile Scrum Team.

The candidate will be working on high availability multi-tier platforms built on top of MS Dynamics 365, SharePoint Online and Azure Services using the latest .Net patterns and practices.

This role will play a part in developing and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality (taking leverage of our Selenium (JAVA) framework, Cypress, K6, Moq)

Corporate Functions delivers/support Enterprise applications for the entire Euronext group.

The candidate responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.)

The QA technician role plays an important part in our company’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets business needs. Key Responsibilities

• BS/MS degree in IT-related fields; - IEFP Level VI

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases;

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities;

• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using MS Test features and Selenium in JAVA, Cypress and K6;

• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved:

• Work in a structured managed SDLC environment;

• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and business analysts) to identify system requirements;

• Monitor debugging process results;

• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions;

• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.

Key accontabilities

• Within the Primary Markets department, the Business Development team is the focal point for business intelligence and projects for all Euronext listing venues.

• Your missions will include stock market analysis, capital market research (ECM) and competitive benchmarking. Taking part in the team's effort, you will also help bolster the team's research capacities by contributing to know-how and content on specific sectors and/or topics related to equity and debt capital markets.

• As part of this European team, you will be involved in the launch and development of new services and initiatives for listed companies, such as the creation of new partnerships or the annual preparation of our pre-IPO programmes (IPOready).

• You will also participate in the production of quarterly group reports on business performance for senior management team.

• You will more generally support the Business Development team in projects deemed strategic to deliver on the Primary Markets business unit's strategic ambitions.

Profile

Final or penultimate year student from a Tier 1 university, business or engineering school, with strong academic credentials.

Your key accountabilities

• Responsible for the complete definition of business requirements on all services related to risk management.
• Responsible for the definition of the complete product backlog and functional roadmap on risk management services for the clearing of Euronext markets.
• Accountability for the set of requirements defined, their completeness with regards to the clients’ needs before the launch of the project is a key factor success for the product conception and launch.
• Work closely with the other members of the business and value design team, risk management team, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
• Responsible for the validation of the QA reports after developments of the business functions identified by the PO.

Experience:

• 10 years of experience in the relevant financial market discipline is required as the PO needs to have strong expertise to deliver on his/her tasks;

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, and CloudFormation, along with proficiency in Python, SQL, and database technologies. Experience with Iceberg tables for managing large datasets is highly desirable.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data solutions on the AWS cloud platform.
