• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

• Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data, draw insights from large data sets, querying databases and creating data architectures.

Job description:

We are seeking a new Head of Security that will be responsible for advancing the cyber security of Nord Pool’s technology infrastructure. You will be a strategic leader to enhance all aspects of the cyber security program, with an emphasis on the controls protecting our network, server, endpoint, and remote workforce, and lead enterprise cyber risk discussion with business and technology leaders, as well as working hands-on in the security tools.

The role has dual reporting lines, within Nord Pool the Head of Security reports to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), while in the Euronext Group the role reports to the group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The Head of Security is responsible for maintaining a company-wide vision, strategy, and architecture for information security. This includes establishing, maintaining, and monitoring the policies and procedures that promote the secure and uninterrupted operation of all information technology systems, ensuring that the company is in compliance with all applicable laws, directives, and policies.
• Design and implement the security architecture solutions using the security tools.
• Conduct security assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis to identify potential security vulnerabilities and prioritize appropriate mitigations and investments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into the organization's infrastructure and applications.
• Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents.
• Develop and deliver executive level presentations to management, and applicable regulatory and rating agencies.
• Stay abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously enhance the organization's security posture.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

• Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of information security architecture, information security technologies, systems design, integration of systems, and networking, with Hands-on experience implementing and configuring the security tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Strong process improvement orientation.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders including Customer Service/Experience, Operations, Finance, and HR.
• Seasoned judgment for working independently and taking initiative.

The auditor understands the business challenges of the area in which he or she is working, and knows how to apply them to the IS. In collaboration with the apprentice master or tutor who will be providing training, the candidate will take part in the following tasks:

• Gather the information needed to carry out the mission in a confidential context, while respecting ethical rules.

• Carry out control testing and assess risks.

• Leverage access to data and analytics tools to analyze populations of data of basic to moderate complexity.

• Document all audit work in the audit tool in a complete, accurate and timely manner.

• Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations.

• Organize activities to achieve mission objectives within deadlines.

• Handle relations with auditees independently and diplomatically.

• Participate in follow-up actions to implement audit recommendations.

Profile

• Preparing a Bac+4/5 sandwich course with a specialization in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Information Technology or a related field

• Preference for a work-study schedule of 2 to 3 weeks at a time in the company.

Your profile
• In-depth technical knowledge in one or several of the following field of expertise:

Infrastructure as code approach (Terraform and CloudFormation)
CI /CD pipelines and GitLab CI/CD, Sonarqube, etc.

Internal Audit at Euronext - general overview

The Internal Audit team supports Euronext in achieving its objectives by providing independent, objective assurance and advisory services to help management evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.
Euronext operates seven national regulated securities and derivatives markets in Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Milan, Oslo and Paris, a regulated derivatives market in Bergen, a leading fixed-income trading platform, MTS, as well as four central securities depositories (CSDs), a clearing house and services across Europe.

The Euronext Internal Audit Team is composed of 15 auditors located across Europe. The Internal Audit function is pursuing its substantial transformation in order to adapt to the recent growth of Euronext. Euronext is strengthening its audit function by building a strong audit community as part of the matrix organization of the Euronext federal model. Internal Auditors are working both locally and across the geographical locations where Euronext is established. They are covering all group entities including Markets, CSDs and the Clearing House, as well as other group entities and support functions such as IT, Compliance, Risk etc.

We are looking for a Junior Internal Auditor to join our Paris office.

The Internal Audit on business side is responsible for assisting a Senior team member in performing audits on business activities and special projects on a risk-based approach throughout the entire group, covering the diversity of topics that may arise in the complex and dynamic environment of Euronext.  Responsibilities include reviewing the design, effectiveness and efficiency of financial and operational processes, procedures and internal controls to identify risks and determine compliance with Group policies and industry best practices.

Key Accountabilities

Under the supervision of a senior team member (e.g. Supervising Auditor):

• Assist in the performance of the annual Risk Assessment exercise and consequently the development of a risk-based, current and relevant annual audit plan.

• Conduct business and financial reviews. This includes documenting, analyzing, and assessing related risks and controls, assisting in designing tests to assess the effectiveness of controls, evaluating compliance with Group and local procedures, and identifying issues that warrant management’s attention.

• Communicate issues to stakeholders in a clear and precise manner,  offering recommended solutions relevant to business and Risk.

• Ensure that audit activities follow applicable standards and is documented in line with defined methodologies in the organisation’s internal audit tool

• Contribute to Internal Audit’s recommendation follow-up process and liaise with management on progress in implementing improvement and development items

• Identify and actively support the best practices for Internal Audit.

• Develop and maintain positive stakeholders relationships.

• Ensure adherence with professional standards at all times.

• Ensure adequate focus on personal professional growth relevant to taking on more challenging assignments, in line with standard audit career progression – proactively seek relevant education and training opportunities.

Experience

• 0-2  years relevant internal or external audit experience required

Education & Knowledge

• Bachelors / Master’s degree in accounting or Finance or a related field

Profile

• Knowledge of financial industry/Euronext markets, operations and / or IT is an advantage

Key Responsibilities
