Job Profile
This role is part of the Shared Services division of Euronext Securities Porto (ES-PTO).
Shared Services comprises the servicing to several areas of the business, one of these being billing operations. The team in charge of the latter task is one of the main users of the billing platform, as it entails executing several operational tasks relating to clients billing process on behalf of the business, Sales and Product functions. This includes ensuring invoicing quality, in collaboration with and on behalf of the mentioned functions.
In this role, the employee will, amongst other, also support Client Services and the Client Services Manager(s) with knowledge and expertise when relevant to ensure the resolution of client enquiries and/or demand for services.
The role also entails supporting the agile tribe (P.O. and Technology) with new product creation, development, testing, and updates in Dynamics365. This means interacting with P.O./Technology as well as Finance.
Key Accountabilities
As a Senior member of the Shared Services team, you’ll be in charge of:
- Leading and managing the team, setting up their objectives and performing their appraisals.
- Developing team performance KPIs.
- Overseeing SLAs, making sure agreed targets are met, at all times.
- Leading and be ultimately responsible for the quality control of invoices before distribution to customers. This involves monthly review of drafted invoices, to secure formal sign-off on draft invoices by the Product function, and to amend legacy systems if data errors are identified.
- Supporting the agile tribe with new product development and price updates. This entails collecting requirements and providing operational insight to new product development and/or platform enhancement and updating price grid with new product prices.
- Configuring new products in the billing tool (Taxi) and Dynamics365.
- Supporting the test of new products and in case of larger price changes, analyze impact on customers.
- Executing and supervise the completion of operational tasks on behalf of Sales and Product teams. Amongst other this means creating manual invoices in Taxi, based on emails from Sales as well as issuing credit notes to clients for approval by Product teams.
- Leading and overseeing any other activities and staff as they may be added to the scope of the Shared Services team.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
In this position, the ideal candidate will have at least the following skills:
- More than 5 years’ experience in a similar leading role.

In this role, you will work closely with our business and techinal analyst teams as well with other members of our organisation to understand business requirements that drives the analysis and design of high quality technical solutions for our customers. As the customer is central to what we do the work you will deliver will be aligned to the company’s wider IT strategies and comply with the architectural standards.
In a nutshell, you will have complete involvement in the software development life cycle, by owning the responsibility of designing, coding and testing, implementing, maintaining and supporting software applications that are delivered by our business. You’ll have the oportunity to contribute to the long term product strategy by making continous improvement recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing one.
Additional activities may also include participation in team ceremonies, performance monitoring and testing sessions, code refactoring and advices on how to evolve our software.
You will support the Euronext Securities /Milan4U web platform, deployed in Italy, a system composed of: Customer frontend implemented on top of Open Text Content Server v21, a C# set of sites for U2B communication, a SOAP Layer for A2A communication and a backend core system based on Oracle 19 in charge of all data management. This system could be migrated in AWS cloud during next years.
Key responsibilities for this role are

REGULATORY CONTEXT
T2S – European Central Bank
In its Report on Collateral Management Harmonization in December 2017, the Advisory Group on Market Infrastructures for Securities and Collateral (AMI-SeCo) identified a series of harmonization needs in the field of collateral management.
In the area of Corporate Actions, several upgrades were identified to meet standards for fixed income instruments.
Job summary
The ECMS Programme oversees delivering a solution to meet regulatory requirements (November 2023 for debt instruments and 2025 for the other instruments).
The programme aims at creating a common and flexible approach for Corporate Actions calculation for Euronext CSDs and is currently running the implementation of a new Corporate Actions platform.
The programme is looking for a senior business analyst for the phase 2 of the project, to make the link between business and IT and help designing and documenting future services.
It is also highly expected that the profile will bring experience with regards Corporate Actions implementation and Corporate Actions international standards, including ISO messages, and have already a knowledge of Portuguese Financial Market where Euronext Securities Porto operates as CSD.
The senior business analyst will be working mainly with the Corporate Action Product Owner and Euronext Securities Porto senior business resources.
The senior business analyst could also interact with the Programme Director, Enterprise Architect and IT lead(s).
Key Accountabilities
As Senior Business Analyst, you will be in charge of:
• Ensuring Euronext Securities Porto requirements are covered and implemented;
• Identifying, understanding and documenting international standards, making sure these are well understood by all all stakeholders;;
• Sharing knowledge and best practice with regards to Corporate Actions implementation, namely the ISO messages;
• Proposing and negotiating business solutions to meet SCoRE requirements;
• Drafting visual flows and diagrams supporting IT architectural solutions, meeting the product’s strategy and regulatory standards;
• Supporting the definition of all requirements regarding the business models;
• Ensuring enough flexibility for the solution and its major features;
• Ensuring end-to-end coverage of the business requirements with the architect;
• Acting as local relay between the Product Owner and Euronext Securities Porto staff
- Supporting the implementation of standard and harmonised business practices;
- Providing support ahead and during the new Corporate Actions platform testing phase;
- Escalating any issue to the Product Owner.
Skills, knowledge and experience Required
Experience
- 4 years + experience in a Business Analysts role, Corporate Actions specific knowledge being an advantage;
- 4 years + experience within the financial markets, Portuguese Financial Market specifics being an asset.
Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding or at least good notions of:
- The Corporate Actions international standards;
- ISO 15022 and ISO 20022 Corporate Actions standards;
- T2S rules.

Within the Risk & Compliance department, a team of more than 40 talented professionals in Risk, BCM and Compliance, spread across our various geographies, is ensuring to preserve the value assets and reputation of the company. Supporting risk identification and assessment and the implementation of risk mitigating actions, informing and raising staff and business awareness, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulations are the core activities embedded in our team.
We are looking for a Markets and CSDs Risk Manager to join our team to :
- Support the Head of Markets and CSDs Risk to follow up the risk management activities for Markets and CSDs business units including reporting to internal and external stakeholders;
- Support the organisation in proper risk management practices in order to avoid threats (financial losses, reputational damage, service failures or compliance breaches) and to strike the right balance in pursue business opportunities.
Key accountabilities:
- Contribute to ensure proper risk management activities in line with internal and external requirements and expectations from management and relevant stakeholders including the national financial authorities and the central banks;
- Assist in performing 2nd line of defence’s independent risk assessments for business activities and projects and in developing and monitoring of key risk indicators;
- Support the proper risk management reporting to senior management, Risk Committees and legal entities’ Board of Directors.
Knowledge, Skills, Personal qualities:
- Master degree is required. Degrees in economics or engineering is preferred;
- 4 to 6 years of experience, with previous risk management demonstrated;
- knowledge of risk management best practices and standards/frameworks like COSO ERM and ISO 31000;
- Fluency in English required;
- Flexible and open to change;
- Excellent analytic skills;
- Ability to discuss and challenge a risk in an approachable manner
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels including senior executives, external stakeholders and authorities, both orally and in writing;
- Ability to work well on own initiative.
- Knowledge of the CSD and/or stock exchange business is preferable;
- Knowledge of relevant regulations in the finance industry is an advantage (e.g. CSDR for CSDs, MiFID II, Basel and Solvency regulations, etc.);
- Experience in quantitative risk management techniques like value-at-risk models, statistical simulations (e.g. Monte Carlo) and others, is an advantage;
- Knowledge of and experience from specific risk management domains, like cyber risk/IT risk management (e.g. ISO 27000) and project risk management, is an advantage.

Euronext Securities Porto is the leading entity in Portugal in post-trade services, offering integrated and flexible solutions at European level, operating as the Custody and Settlement Central Securities Depository (CSD), belonging to the EURONEXT Group and being compliant with:

Key Accountabilities
As an Ancillary Services Analyst you will:
- Identify improvements in the procedures regarding shareholders / beneficial holders’ identification.
- Manage and control the shareholders / beneficial holders identification requests.
- Monitor and follow up the answers of shareholders / beneficial holders identification requests.
- Support the development and implementation of the projects regarding shareholder / beneficial holders identification service.
- Provide clients support (Issuers and Financial Intermediaries) regarding shareholders / beneficial holders’ identification.
- Support the implementation of the standards, guidelines, market practices and improvement of the processes for the shareholders / beneficial holders’ identification.
- Manage the requests for the subscription of ISO 20022 messages for Shareholders Identification.
- Manage and coordinates the testing of all the updates and improvements in the system regarding shareholders / beneficial holders’ identification.
- Support the onboarding and setup of new clients.
- Prepare and perform audits to clients.
- Process compulsory acquisitions.
- Monitor and control the reconciliation processes.
- Prepare and update the operational documentation regarding the topics under its responsibility.
Profile and Skills
Euronext is looking at the following profile:
