Euronext is looking for an intern to support the offices of the Group CEO and Euronext Paris CEO, for 6 months.
You will work directly with the Chief of Staff of the Group CEO and the Paris CEO Business Manager. You will contribute to strategic projects, be responsible for transversal internal projects of Euronext Paris and produce insights for both CEOs, leveraging the talent and expertise across the entire Euronext organization.
This internship is a unique opportunity to get involved in a variety of strategic initiatives with direct impact on the growth and development of the company, while achieving concrete impact on the organization through hands-on projects.
You will get a multidimensional exposure to the ecosystem surrounding financial markets (issuers, French Tech companies, financial institutions, high-frequency traders, regulators) and a better understanding of the inner workings of an ambitious, growing pan-European company across functions (Sales, Strategy, M&A, HR, Marketing, Communications).
During your internship, you will focus on the following missions :
Support and empower the Group CEO and French CEO in their daily interactions: press interviews, client meetings, negotiations and external conferences
Write fact-based, concise background papers, briefing materials and supporting presentations for internal or external meetings, liaising with relevant experts and stakeholders within the organization;
Support the organization of corporate events that are of critical importance for the organization, for example: Euronext Annual Conference, Sustainability Week
Monitor the progress of these projects, or other specific topics: organize & participate to meetings with relevant stakeholders, take minutes, follow-up of ongoing issues.
For the Group CEO, support the design of the future strategic plan by engaging in prospective research as well as monitoring relevant internal projects and initiatives.
Manage internal projects related to the Paris Office
Take part to the Smart Office project, which aims at renovating Euronext Paris offices to adjust to new ways of working and to better support collaboration and hybrid working mode;
Write content dedicated to internal communications, in particular the monthly newsletter and ad-hoc intranet articles;
Prepare relevant committees: Works Council, Paris Management Committee;
Manage internal projects, for example: steer the ESG France network (initiatives focused on ocean protection and financial literacy), organize Onboarding days, coordinate visits of professional organisations and public authorities.
You will also be able to participate in other projects and initiatives of the CEO Offices, depending on the strategic direction of Euronext and your preferences.

Company Webcast, based in Capelle aan den IJssel, provides high-end webcast and webinar solutions to more than 700 corporates and local governments, through a state-of-the-art platform using the most advanced technology. We offer flexible and tailor-made formats, depending on the customers’ needs, i.e. video or audio webcasts on location, conference call webcasts, highly interactive professional studio webcasts and self-service webinar licences. Risk & Compliance department overview
Within the Risk & Compliance department, a team of almost 50 talented professionals in Risk, BCM and Compliance, spread across our various geographies, is ensuring to preserve the value assets and reputation of the company. Identifying and assessing risks, implementing mitigation actions, informing and raising staff and business awareness, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulations are the core activities embedded in our team.
The teams as, all its key stakeholders, including local Boards, Regulators, are located in all Euronext entities (Paris, Porto, Milan, Oslo, New York, Dublin, Copenhagen…).
Your role as Chief Compliance Officer
Reporting to the Euronext Head of Risk and Compliance, the future Chief Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the robust protection of the company and setting a strategic vision on the Compliance agenda for the years to come with a clear plan on any new regulations to come in relation with Euronext's business, product and services. She/he will be leading, driving, attracting, retaining and nurturing high quality talent, while fostering a strong culture of diversity and inclusion.
The role will manage a team of 7 direct reports and a department of circa 35 people in total, splitted in Corporate Compliance, Member Compliance, Regulated Markets Compliance, Post Trade, CSDs and DPO.
The role involves establishing and maintaining a first class compliance standard and culture within Euronext and will play a key role in ensuring Euronext business approach is in line with legal and regulatory requirements. The role is responsible for the development, ongoing maintenance and enforcement of the necessary policies and procedures and supporting activities within the overall compliance agenda including guiding the business on new initiatives.
Key accountabilities
Amongst other activities, the Chief Compliance Officer will be accountable to:
1/ Drive compliance roadmap with each scope
Provide leadership and direction within the Compliance team to ensure the on-time delivery of the annual compliance plan and the continuous satisfaction of regulatory obligations.
Develop, monitor with the rights KPIs and execute an annual compliance plan, in accordance with stated timeline targets, and in link with each of the direct report in charge of a specific scope : Markets, Post Trade, CSDs, Corporate.
Serve as an independent and objective central point of compliance related issues and be the ultimate compliance escalation point
