Role Summary

The Director of Client Growth & Expansion will collaborate closely with the Chief Revenue Officers and local sales managers to drive revenue growth across Governance, Compliance, and Investor Relations business lines. They will align cross-selling strategies with overall business objectives, track performance metrics, and allocate resources with the CRO. The team

Client Operations is a multilingual team, based in various locations throughout Europe, which delivers full operational support and training on the complete Euronext Corporate Services suite of products and services. The team operates the multi-level Service Desk support, specific product based client operations, as well as client onboarding and continuous training for all clients.

Role Summary

Work with clients to ensure all client queries, issues and requests are successfully managed and resolved. The Senior Client Operations Manager ensures that an excellent customer service is provided to all clients, partners and that all client’s escalations are managed on a timely basis. He/she is working together in a (virtual) team from various locations across the globe, working in co-operation with the Head of Client Services and the other Managers to deliver excellent and cost-efficient operational services.

Job summary

As Post-Listing Advisory Senior Associate for Belgium & the Netherlands, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of listed companies. You will work closely with equity issuers to understand their Investor Relations and ESG needs and provide tailored solutions using Euronext Advisory & IR Solutions services. Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Risk & Compliance department overview:

The Compliance and Market Surveillance at Oslo Børs is responsible for the real-time and post trade surveillance of the Norwegian security markets, including follow-up and enforcement of the Oslo Børs rules applicable for member firms and listed issuers. Further, the reporting of breaches of the rules of conduct to the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet) rests within the department's area of ​​responsibility (cf. the Market Abuse Regulation and the Norwegian Securities Trading Act).

The main task of the compliance function at Oslo Børs is to minimize compliance risks and to ensure that the exchange's operations are carried out in line with regulatory requirements, the Euronext group's internal policies and internal procedures established by the management or Board of Directors at Oslo Børs. Euronext has implemented a matrix organisation, where all units at Oslo Børs have a functional reporting line into the group. Hence, the Oslo Børs compliance function is an integrated part of the Euronext Group Risk & Compliance department as well.

Within the Euronext Group Risk & Compliance department, a team of almost 50 talented professionals in Risk, BCM and Compliance, spread across our various geographies, is ensuring to preserve the value assets and reputation of the company. Your role as Head of Compliance and Market Surveillance Oslo:

Reporting to the CEO of Euronext Oslo Børs and the Chief Compliance Officer, the Head of Compliance and Market Surveillance Oslo is responsible for ensuring the robust protection of the company delivering the compliance of all rules with a clear plan on any new regulations to come in relation with Euronext Oslo Børs and the Euronext groups’ business, product and services.

Further, the role includes responsibility for the Market Surveillance (real-time and post-trade) of the Norwegian equity and bond markets as well as following-up the listed issuers compliance with Euronext rule books and the disclosure obligations in accordance with the Market Abuse Regulation. The role will manage a team of 6 direct reports.


The role involves establishing and maintaining a first class compliance and risk standard and culture at Euronext Oslo Børs and within the Euronext Group and will play a key role in ensuring that Euronext Oslo Børs business is in line with legal and regulatory requirements. The role is responsible for the development, ongoing maintenance and enforcement of the necessary policies and procedures and supporting activities within the overall compliance agenda including guiding the business on new initiatives. The Head of Compliance and Market Surveillance for Euronext Oslo Børs will also manage and coordinate BCM and internal control activities for Oslo.

Key accountabilities:

Head of Compliance and Market Surveillance for Euronext Oslo Børs will be accountable to:

  • Manage real-time and post trade surveillance, and develop / optimize alerts and systems as required to keep abreast of Market and Regulatory developments.
  • Support business with advice on several topics related to market activities as well as compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies/guidelines.
  • Manage audits and investigations and where required take / recommend appropriate enforcement action.

  • Manage and follow-up Euronext Oslo Børs employees' restrictions and reporting requirements for trading in financial instruments.
  • Follow up the reporting of incidents at Euronext Oslo Børs, including ensuring that mitigation measures are implemented.
  • Responsibility for an operational, well-functioning and independent compliance function for Euronext Growth Oslo (MTF).
  • Manage and direct the work of the employees within the Compliance and Market Surveillance department in Oslo.
  • Report and present compliance related topics and issues to the senior management and the Board of Directors at Oslo Børs ASA.
