Euronext’s Technology & Operations teams cover a wide range of activities, including the operation of trading platforms and post-trade platforms, one Clearing House and four CSDs (prior to the integration of ATHEX). The IT function is responsible for designing, developing and testing new features and solutions to respond to the business and clients’ needs. IT also designs and builds the infrastructure that the company runs on and ensures that systems, infrastructure and market platforms are up and running.

IT teams provide end-to-end technology support across the Group, comprising approximately 800 staff primarily located in Milan, Porto, Paris, and the Nordics. They are organized into two main groups: IT Business Lines, which provide dedicated support to each core business, and IT Transversal Teams, including Infrastructure and Information Security.

The Euronext Technology & Support Centre

The ambition of the new Euronext Technology & Support Centre is to build a strong team in Greece that will support the Business Lines, IT, and Operations functions across the Group.

In its initial phase, the Centre will focus on two key initiatives:

  • Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) Development Team: We will establish an in-house team responsible for developing and supporting Euronext’s Graphical User Interfaces, which are currently managed by an external provider.

  • IT Clearing Test Factory: We will create an in-house Test Factory to support the Clearing House based in Italy. Euronext Clearing is a multi-asset-class clearing house that provides proven risk management capabilities for Euronext’s cash, financial and commodity derivatives markets. As the central counterparty (CCP) of choice for Euronext markets, it ensures the efficient and safe functioning of the markets.

Initial roles within the Centre will include Backend Developers, UI Developers, Business Analysts, Application Managers, and QA Engineers.

Role and key responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Technology & Support Centre in Athens, with a dotted line to the Head of Test Factory at Euronext Clearing, the QA Manager plays a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of mission-critical clearing systems. You will lead a growing QA team composed of QA automation engineers and manual QA engineers, supporting complex clearing environments with extensive test automation coverage. Operating in an international and distributed context, you will interact with multiple stakeholders and continuously adopt industry best practices, test automation advancements and AI-driven testing approaches.

You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Leading, managing and developing a team of QA automation engineers and manual QA engineers

  • Defining and executing the QA strategy, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals

  • Overseeing test planning, execution and reporting across multiple projects and releases

  • At least five years of experience as a test manager or similar role in a well-established organisation operating in agile environments

Role and key responsibilities

Join our new Tech & Support centre in Athens as a Business Analyst in the MTS GUI Development team. You will be part of a team of business analysts that bridge the gap between the technical product owners and the development team, ensuring the new web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for our fixed income electronic trading platforms is built to specification and meets the functional and non-functional requirements defined by the product organisation. You will report to the Team Lead and work closely with technical product owners in the MTS IT team and with developers, QA specialists and UX/UI designers in the Athens centre. This is a unique opportunity to shape the functional design of a modern trading platform and contribute to a major technology transformation at one of Europe's leading electronic fixed income marketplaces.

You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Gathering, analysing and documenting functional and non-functional requirements from technical product owners for the new web-based trading GUI, ensuring they are well understood and ready for development.

  • Translating product requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes and functional specifications that can be consumed by the development and QA teams.

  • Working closely with UX/UI designers to define intuitive and efficient trading workflows, screen layouts and user interactions.

  • Several years of experience as a business analyst or functional analyst, ideally in financial markets, trading platforms, capital markets technology or other complex, data-intensive domains.

  • Strong understanding of fixed income markets (bonds, repos, swaps) and electronic trading workflows is highly desirable; experience with order management, market data, trade lifecycle or similar systems is a plus.

  • Proven ability to elicit, structure and document requirements using user stories, use cases, process flows, wireframes or similar techniques.

  • Experience working in agile environments (e.g. Scrum or Kanban) alongside developers, QA and product owners, with a solid understanding of backlog management and sprint ceremonies.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex business processes into clear, actionable specifications.

Euronext Clearing is seeking a Head of Risk Model Validation to manage and coordinate its model validation team in Rome. This is a key management role, requiring strong quantitative as well as team leadership and coordination skills to support and develop a motivated team. You will ensure the integrity and robustness of risk models used to measure market, credit and liquidity risk, supporting the safe and efficient functioning of Euronext’s clearing operations. You will primarily be responsible for:
• Managing the independent validation of risk models used to measure market, credit and liquidity risk, ensuring quality and timely delivery

• Developing and analysing sensitivity analysis, backtesting and stress testing
• Validating input data and implementing process improvements to streamline data analysis and reporting
• Liaising with regulators on model validation topics

Your profile
• Master’s degree in quantitative finance, engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics or equivalent

• Seven - ten years’ experience in the banking or financial services industry, including roles with regulators or consultancy firms
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
