Job description:

We are looking for our new Data Analyst Apprentice in the Statistics and Analytics team. This position is based in Paris. With the other Data Analysts of the team, you will work on deriving insights from Euronext vast pool of historical market data and other data sources to support data driven decision of the business and sales teams, as well as operations and communication teams.

You will contribute to the evolution of the technics and tools put in place to answer the expectations for data self-service and will be responsible for actively engaging in the initiative to implement optimal analysis contents that are relevant to internal and external stakeholders. Your role:

We are looking for a Quantitative Analyst to support the launch of Swaps business as well as our existing data products and business. Key Accountabilities

  • Develop a swap pricer for the main currencies (initially EUR, USD, GBP) .
  • Testing and benchmarking accuracy of the pricer versus existing solutions in the market.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Experience

  • From to 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Education

  • Advanced degree (Masters preferred) in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or closely related field.
  • A focus on financial markets and electronic trading is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python – writing clean, efficient and production-grade code – and experience with large datasets (SQL/no-SQL, with knowledge of C++ being a plus).
  • Extensive knowledge of quantitative research methodologies, including probabilities, statistical modeling and time-series analysis. Experience in machine learning is a plus.

Student Position: Communications and Events Coordinator (40 %) – Nord Pool 

Nord Pool is Europe’s leading power exchange, connecting electricity markets across multiple countries. We are now looking for a structured, curious and motivated student to join our communications team in a part-time position (40 %, approximately two days per week). The role combines hands-on support for communications activities and the planning and delivery of internal and external events. 
The position is part of the communications function at Nord Pool. You will work closely with the Communications Director and the Event Manager, and report to the Communications Director. 
 

Role description 
As Communications and Events Coordinator, you will support both ongoing communications work and the organisation of events and meetings. The role includes practical coordination tasks as well as editorial and monitoring responsibilities, offering broad exposure to how a panEuropean organisation works with communications, content and stakeholder engagement. 

You will gain practical experience across written communication, media monitoring and event coordination, and work closely with colleagues across functions, countries and the wider Euronext group. 

The position is based in Lysaker, Oslo. Some flexibility will be required in connection with events, but working hours can otherwise be adapted to your studies. 

  

Key responsibilities 
Events and coordination 

-Support the planning and delivery of physical, digital and hybrid events such as seminars, workshops, customer meetings and internal events. 
-Coordinate practical logistics including invitations, registration and guest lists, venues, catering, AV support, presentations, photography and giveaways. 
-Liaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers and agencies as needed. 
-Contribute to evaluations and followup after events. 
 

  

Communications and editorial support 

-Media monitoring in Norwegian and international media, including preparing regular overviews and summaries. 
-Assist with editing, proofreading and quality assurance of texts in Norwegian and English. 
-Draft and adapt short texts for internal channels, websites and presentation material. 
-Update content and plans in internal communications tools. 
-Support ad hoc communications tasks as required, depending on needs and capacity. 

Tasks will vary over the year and provide insight into the full communications and events process in an international organisation. 

 

Qualifications

Join us as an Institutional Derivatives Intern !

 

We’re seeking a results-driven Institutional Derivatives Intern to join our Financial Derivatives team in Paris, ideally from July 2026. You will report to the Pricing and Liquidity team.

 

Your role will be to assist the team to help them in ensuring the business competitiveness among a demanding and fast growing environment. The intern will support the team in market and product development activities for its Equity Derivatives franchise, but also it new Fixed Income Derivatives offering. The intern will help the team to support the client interactions and will be involved into the marketing campaigns. Client targets include buy-side, sell-side, liquidity providers, asset managers and clearing members based in the continental Europe and the UK.

The intern might also provide support in the integration process of Athex Exchange within the Euronext legacy infrastructure.

The intern will interact on a daily basis with employees from various departments, the management team and clients, for which interpersonal skills are key.

 

Your missions:

  • Generating trading reports on a frequent basis to follow product developments and feed clients with trading trends.
  • Support the team commercial efforts in building presentations for clients (banks, market makers, brokers) including statistics describing trading pattern and rankings.
  • Supporting data scientists in research and quantitative projects using Python and VBA.
  • Close monitoring of competitors’ developments on Euronext markets, and market shares trends.
  • Lead advanced analysis on derivatives (options, futures, etc.) markets to guide strategic decision-making and help product designing.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly client activity analysis.
  • Support the team’s efforts to enhance the current product offering and trading functionalities as well as evaluate new product development opportunities to distinguish Euronext from its competitors in the derivatives market.
  • Participate in the marketing campaign for the launch of our new products/services.
  • Monitoring of the business environment: regulatory changes, economic indicators, and competitive intelligence analysis in the derivatives markets (new products, performance, potential differentiation etc.)
  • Maintain the client database to ensure a strong distribution network.
  • Other ad-hoc analysis and projects to support the Financial Derivatives team.

 

Your profile:

  • Final or penultimate year of master’s degree, specialising in finance or engineering.
  • Previous experience, ideally in the bank sector, or in a demanding position in the wider financial services industry and/or in a large corporate, would be a plus.
  • Good understanding of financial services.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of a wide span of complex strategic, operational and regulatory matters.
  • Impeccable oral and written English. French would be a plus.
  • Ability to articulate a strategy orally and in writing and to communicate key decision points clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Fast learner, proactive behaviour and entrepreneurial mindset (pragmatic, hands-on in execution, ability to recommend decisions under uncertainty).
  • Ability to deliver results and make things happen from project inception to completion.
  • Good interpersonal skills to handle a wide multicultural network of stakeholders.
