Introduction

As part of a pan-European team located in Paris, Porto, Oslo and Milan, you will contribute to audit activities covering all Euronext entities and locations. This VIE assignment is open to candidates who meet the eligibility criteria set by Business France.

You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Participating as a full member of the Internal Audit team, contributing to the execution of the group audit plan across a wide range of business areas, including markets, central securities depositories, clearing houses, post-trade and support functions (IT, Compliance, Risk, HR, Finance and more)
  • Taking part in all phases of internal audit missions: from diagnostic and investigation to drafting recommendations, reporting, debriefing and follow-up
  • Identifying and evaluating risks within the scope of each audit mission
  • Attending meetings with auditees to understand processes and controls
  • Contributing to the definition of audit work programmes and performing audit work on assigned topics
  • Analysing findings, identifying weaknesses or anomalies and proposing realistic recommendations to address root causes
  • Documenting audit work in line with international internal audit standards
  • Participating in clearance meetings to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management
  • Following up on recommendations to ensure effective implementation
  • Supporting continuous monitoring and the annual risk assessment exercise to help define future audit plans
  • Contributing to the Internal Audit community and knowledge sharing

Your profile

  • Eligible for the VIE programme as defined by Business France (aged 18-28, EEA nationality, and not previously resident or employed in Norway)
  • Master’s degree or equivalent; CIA or related certification is a plus
  • Experience in internal audit, financial services or risk evaluation is an advantage
  • Knowledge of European financial regulations is a plus
  • Affinity or experience with data analytics is a plus
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Autonomous, rigorous and results-oriented, with strong analytical and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Team spirit and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
  • Fluency in English and French required; Norwegian, Portuguese or Italian are a plus
  • Curiosity and the ability to elicit and substantiate information and findings
