Business Support Executive and Company Secretary

We are looking for a Business Support Executive assuming the role of Company Secretary to join the Euronext Dublin team.

The position will be based in Dublin, and start 1 September 2026. You will report to the Euronext Dublin CEO.

You will primarily be responsible for:

Business Support Executive areas:

  • Support the CEO and senior management with business tasks and activities, including preparing agendas and presentations, reports, background materials for meetings, recording meeting notes and tracking and monitoring action.
  • Support the CEO with travel preparations, calendar management and expense management.

Your profile:

  • Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with deep expertise in modern Java versions and Spring ecosystem. 

  • 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead, with responsibility for guiding a development team and driving delivery in a distributed team environment in the design and development of scalable, high-performance systems using microservices and established design patterns. 

  • Strong expertise across AWS services, including Cognito, Lambda, S3, SQS and RDS with experience designing resilient architecture. Familiarity with CloudFront and WAF is required. 

  • Extensive experience with data modelling and database schema management, including Liquibase for migrations and jOOQ for type-safe SQL and performance-critical queries 

  • Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. 

  • Front-end experience with React, Angular and Next.js, including JavaScript and TypeScript is a Plus. Demonstrated experience enabling effective collaboration with Frontend engineers for informed technical decision-making. 

  • Strong understanding of SSO, AuthN and AuthZ, and API security, including OAuth2/OIDC, token-based security, role-based access control, and data privacy best practices.

Introduction
Euronext Market Services (EMS) is the front line for Euronext Cash, Derivatives and Commodities business with five main operational centers in Amsterdam, Dublin, Oslo, Milan and Paris to ensure fair and orderly markets for all Cash, Derivatives and Commodities products, including Listing Operations, Corporate Actions, Euronext Indices, Euronext Market Data, Member on boarding and Hosted Commercial Markets. The teams operate all Euronext cash and derivatives markets and own the service delivery to clients. This department is organized around 4 main functional departments (Member Access & Clients Services, Markets Operations and surveillance, Issuers Services Operations and Regulatory Reporting) and two transversal teams (Quality & Performance Management and Transformation & Projects).

  • Acting as the main point of contact for issuers and their representatives, including agents and legal advisors

Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for an M&A Manager to join the M&A team. The position will be based in Paris, and start as soon as possible. You will report to the Head of M&A.

You will primarily be responsible for:

  • Lead M&A, partnerships, and other external growth initiatives:
    • Develop business cases in collaboration with operational teams (e.g., Strategy, Operations, Finance).
    • Conduct financial modeling for transactions, including valuation and financial impact analyses.
    • Co-manage the due diligence process, coordinating all due diligence areas with internal and external resources.
    • Participate in negotiations and review transaction-related legal documentation.
    • Prepare presentation materials for transaction approvals by the Executive Team and Board of Directors.
  • Prepare first steps of Post Merger Integration and ensure handover to business teams
  • Screen potential external growth opportunities and coordinate reviews of opportunities from investment banks.
  • Bring M&A expertise to strategic transformation projects.
  • Support internal projects that require corporate finance expertise, such as impairment tests and intra-group restructuring.

Your profile:

  • Graduate from a leading business or engineering school.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&A, preferably within a corporate environment, private equity, strategic consulting.
  • Familiarity with the financial services industry.
  • Fluent in English and French.

DEVELOPMENT OF SHAREHOLDER ANALYSIS ACTIVITY ALONGSIDE THE SHAREHOLDERS RIGHT DIRECTIVE II & GEOGRAPHIC EXPANSION IN EUROPE


The European expansion of our Advisory & IR Solutions business is a strategic pillar for the next two years. Already serving clients in France and Belgium the Shareholder Analysis team will deploy a lot of efforts to serve Oslo Børs Clients and to accompany the European implementation of the Shareholder Rights Directive II (SRD II), which should unlock the business potential outside to other geographies across Europe. Share registers in Europe will be more transparent and more easily accessible from local CSDs.

The Shareholder Analysis team provides market intelligence and advice to listed companies subscribing to shareholder identification services. Be part of a dynamic entrepreneurial team with wide range of experiences. Build deep relationships with corporate issuers to understand their Investor Relations needs and to provide solutions using full range of Euronext Advisory & IR Solutions services. Work with Analysts to build reports analysing ownership of client shares by institutional investors.

Key Accountabilities

As Intern Shareholder Analysis, you will:

  • Support in delivering Shareholder Analysis Reports (SHAN) & help build client relationships in France, Belgium, Norway, the Netherlands, Italy etc.
  • Analyze local share registers with Shareholders Rights Directive II and complete shareholder analysis reports for listed companies in Europe of all market sizes and sectors
  • Understand institutional shareholding movements and provide intelligence on investors behavior
  • Able to explain to client movements in shareholder base vs. market/sector/peers
  • Contributed to a strategic group project focused on analysing the shareholding structures of major indices in European markets
  • Report to the Shareholder Analysis Manager

Support the IR & Advisory Team on deliverables concerning all topics and mandates based on workflow and priorities

Profile & Skills

Euronext is looking at the following profile:

  • First experience in the bank and finance industry appreciated
  • Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to transform information from datasets into intelligible and precise presentations which requires very strong Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint skills
  • Capacity to think logically to perform basic dataset manipulations. The team is continuously seeking to improve its processes, and a few notions of coding (VBA and Python) is appreciated but not mandatory
  • Ability to work as a team and to meet tight client deadlines
  • Fluency in verbal and written business in English

Education and Knowledge

•             Bachelor/Master university student or recently graduated (preferrable in Finance/Economics)

•             Previous experience in the capital markets/financial communication would be a plus
