Broking firms that are members of Oslo Børs or of Euronext Growth (Oslo) Market, and that are authorised to provide corporate finance services, are eligible for approval as Euronext Growth (Oslo) Advisors.
Members of Euronext Growth (Oslo) Market become approved by signing a short additional agreement to their existing membership agreement.
Other broking firms that are not members of Oslo Børs or of Euronext Growth (Oslo) Market but that are authorised to provide corporate finance services can apply to Oslo Børs to be approved as Euronext Growth (Oslo) Advisors. When evaluating such applications Oslo Børs will carry out a comprehensive assessment of the applicant’s suitability, which will include, inter alia, the other authorisations held by the firm, the experience it and its employees have of the securities market, the relevant expertise of its employees, and any previous breaches of stock exchange or securities legislation. Foreign investment firms that are not authorised to provide corporate finance services in Norway may also apply.
Oslo Børs reserves the right to refuse an application if it considers that approving the applicant, either at the time of its application or subsequently for other reasons, could lead to an increased risk of general confidence in the stock market, the securities market or Oslo Børs being weakened.
