Join our MTS IT Governance team as Information Security and Business Continuity Manager. In this pivotal role, you will lead the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of our security and business continuity practices, in line with the Euronext Security Programme and the Euronext Business Continuity Management Programme. You will primarily be responsible for:

Information security

• Supporting the MTS CTO, the Head of MTS IT Governance and the Business CISO in implementing the Euronext Security Programme, including designing, maintaining and overseeing required processes and controls
• Ensuring all security activities comply with the applicable governance framework, including ISO 27001 and NIST
• Maintaining and updating Information Security Management System (ISMS) documentation
• Overseeing the Information Security Risk Management Framework, ensuring alignment with the enterprise risk management framework
• Promoting information security education, training and awareness across the organisation
• Reviewing and assessing information from security event monitoring and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions
• Overseeing vulnerability management activities and ensuring timely remediation
• Supporting compliance with Italian cyber resilience and cybersecurity regulations, aligning practices with national legal and supervisory requirements

Business continuity

• Supporting the MTS CTO in implementing the Euronext Business Continuity Management Programme, including designing, maintaining and overseeing required processes and controls
• Acting as Business Continuity Coordinator, ensuring activities comply with ISO 22301 and Bank of Italy guidelines
• Representing MTS within the Bank of Italy’s business continuity unit (CODISE), ensuring alignment with national supervisory expectations
• Maintaining and updating Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) documentation
• Organising, coordinating and reporting on periodic business continuity tests and exercises

IT risk management

• Managing periodic risk reviews, reporting activities and coordination with the Euronext Risk function
• Supporting risk management activities, including maintaining and improving the MTS risk registers
• Maintaining Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and assessing information security controls
• Coordinating the implementation of mitigating actions
• Ensuring information risks are properly identified, assessed, monitored and managed

Your profile

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and geographies

About the role

Join us as a Clearing Operations Derivatives Analyst in our International Graduate Programme (V.I.E)!

We are looking for a Clearing Operations Derivatives Analyst (VIE) to join our team in Rome, starting on 1 February 2026, for an initial period of 12 months. This position is part of our International Graduate Programme (VIE) within Euronext Clearing. You will report to the ECO Derivatives Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity to launch your career with the leading pan-European market infrastructure. You will work closely with colleagues across different units and stakeholders, gaining hands-on experience in daily derivatives operations and contributing to projects that expand our product offering and improve our clearing processes.

You will be primarily responsible for:

• Delivering daily post-trade services for derivatives, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and quality. This includes trade capture, post-trade operations, position management, exercise/assignment and expiry management, trade and instrument reconciliations, premium and variation margin oversight, cash settlement and power derivatives cascading management.
• Managing corporate actions across derivatives products, ensuring precise execution and clear communication with clients.
• Overseeing physical delivery expiries on commodities products, monitoring matching, reconciliations, reporting and escalating breaches to safeguard business rules.
• Acting as the primary liaison for clearing members and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and operational excellence.
• Performing daily reconciliations between internal systems and external sources, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Providing expert client advisory as a second-level point of contact for clearing members, collaborating with internal teams to resolve queries efficiently.
• Contributing to operational growth by supporting projects, testing and process enhancements to streamline workflows and support business expansion and new product initiatives.
• Supporting default management activities as a derivatives expert.
• Performing additional operational tasks as required to maintain service excellence.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics or a related field.
• At least one successful internship or work experience in the financial industry, strategy consulting or a fast-growing business.
• Strong interest in clearing operations, with a focus on derivatives and commodities products.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
• Able to work accurately and effectively under pressure.
• Fluent in English; Italian is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel; knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus.
• Fast learner with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities.
