Being part of the Euronext Market Services (EMS) team, you’re in the heart of the Euronext organization. Euronext Market Services (EMS) is the front line for Euronext Cash, Derivatives and Commodities business with two operational centres in Amsterdam and Paris to ensure fair and orderly markets for all Cash, Derivatives and Commodities products, including Corporate Actions, Euronext Indices, Euronext Market Data, Member on boarding and Hosted Commercial Markets. Your tasks

As Markets Analyst you are responsible for maintaining a fair and orderly market on all the relevant asset classes within the scope of the Euronext Market Surveillance department.

  • Running platforms & tools: performing start of day and end of day checks on production and test (EUA) environments as well as taking care of continuous monitoring of services, jointly with Service Operations.

  • Monitoring/Alerting/prevent and detect market manipulations. Report suspicious cases to Member Compliance through the defined process. Proposal of new alerts notably to take into account regulatory evolutions

  • Incident management: identification, alert to IT, work on resolution notably during SIP, handle market status communication and drafting of info flash when assigned this role. Work on post mortem and with Problems management

  • Track resolution of bugs linked to incidents and provide views on priority level.

  • Execution on key tests on the new releases: sanity checks, tests of selected end-to-end functionalities

  • Possibility to be the EMS contributors for company projects: design, approval of specifications, Business Acceptance / end user testing, preparation of conformance test scripts, preparation of operational readiness: participation to the Launch strategy and the organization of dress rehearsals when needed

  • Contribute to the quality of the service delivery by supporting implementation and tracking of SLAs and KPI.

Euronext Information Technology

Our IT team​ provides end-to-end technology support across the Euronext business, comprising of circa 300 staff primarily located in Porto, Lisbon, and Paris.

IT has a core responsibility for developing, supporting  and protecting the key trading platforms Optiq® in addition to the surrounding applications. In infrastructure, IT is responsible for Data Center management including all hardware, such as server & storage equipment right through to end user computing, such as desktops and mobiles. IT is also responsible for protecting Euronext systems from cyber attacks and data theft.

After a training phase in France, the VIE will be part of the Oslo team to support the development of Advisory service offer among issuers both in Norway and France. Reporting to the Post-Listing Manager, the VIE will contribute to the preparation, definition and execution of the deployment strategy of the roadmap in France and Norway for Post-Listing Advisory.

The VIE will be particularly in charge of:

(i) PLANNING

IR.Manager is a CRM platform dedicated to investor relations teams. An ambitious growth project, it acts as a key component of the Euronext Advisory and IR Solutions offering, existing as the “technology” aspect of the service alongside data and consultancy.

IR.Manager supports Investor Relations teams of listed companies optimise their IR team workflow and efficiently manage relationships with institutional investors, analysts and other stakeholders; better understand their shareholder base; profile and target institutional investors with greater accuracy; and advise management with value-adding briefing notes and reports.

The new Account Manager, IR.Manager, will join the Advisory & IR Solutions team (15 people across Euronext locations) and will be responsible for supporting the roll-out of the new IR.Manager, a next generation iteration of the existing IR.Manager platform, to new and existing clients. There will be opportunities to gain a deep understanding of the investment industry and investor relations, develop a rich set of skills around client management, advanced data processing and work with listed companies with large international presences.

They will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the portfolio of IR.Manager clients, attending to day-to-day needs, ensuring timely and successful delivery of responses and solutions

  • Facilitating a process of change, mitigating negative impacts and helping users navigate new surroundings

  • Conducting client on-boarding and user training

  • Liaising between clients and technical, support and research teams

  • Building, optimizing and managing strong client relationships, feedback and success

  • Being a point of reference for IR.Manager, identifying upselling opportunities for the Advisory & IR Solutions suite of services with other product managers and the sales team.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Job Description:

The VIE Internal Audit is part of the group Internal Audit team located in Paris, Copenhagen, Oslo and Milan and covering the entire group i.e. all locations and all entities. The VIE, under the responsibility of the local internal audit responsible, will be located in Oslo during the first 6 months of his/her assignment. A second rotation for the next 6-month will be determined with the VIE in a Euronext country with Internal Audit presence (e.g. Copenhagen or Milan) considering internal audit plan execution needs and strategic initiatives.

The Internal Audit team supports Euronext in achieving its objectives by providing independent, objective reasonable assurance and advisory services to help management evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.

The Euronext Internal Audit Team is composed of 13 auditors located throughout Europe locations (Paris, Copenhagen, Oslo and Milan). The internal Audit department follow the federal model of Euronext with a  matrix organization thus working and covering both locally scopes and entities but also across the geographical entities where Euronext is established and moreover covering all underlying activities (markets, CSDs, Clearing House, CCP, post trade & support functions such as IT, Compliance, Risk, HR, Finance etc).

The team reports to the Head of Internal Audit who is based in Paris and who directly reports to the CEO and the chairman of the audit committee of the group.

The main ambition for 2021 is maintaining a high quality effective, efficient and independent internal audit function with expert auditors bringing added value to Euronext through pertinent audit reports and recommendations

The Internal Audit VIE main tasks include:

The VIE will be considered as a member of the team and the Internal Audit group-wide community. In this sense he/she will contribute to the execution of the audit plan, thus participating to the different internal audit missions to which he/she is assigned. And contributing to all phases of an internal audit mission. Starting from the diagnostic phase, through the investigation phase and writing of recommendations and audit report, debriefing and publication of the audit report and potentially even the recommendation follow up. This implies:

  • Identify and evaluate risks (of the relevant process scope or entity depending on the topic of the mission) to be included in the audit scope (could be concerning markets, CSDs, Clearing House, CCP, post trade & support functions such as IT, Compliance, Risk etc).
  • Participate to understanding meetings with auditees
  • Contribute to the definition of the internal audit work program and perform the audit work on a given scope. Investigate, analyze, and conclude on potential weaknesses or anomalies identified. Propose realistic recommendation addressing the root cause in order to remediate on the identifies weaknesses.
  • Document all the audit work following the rigorous international standards for internal audit
  • Participate to clearance meetings of debriefing of findings, recommendations and the whole audit report with the different stakeholders from individual contributors to Managing Board members.
  • Follow recommendations to ensure correct implementation and closure.
  • Can participate to the Continuous monitoring and Risk Assessment Annual exercise allowing to define the following year audit plan

Education:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent
  • CIA or related certification is a plus
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Pack (Excel, Word, PPT)

Experience:

  • Experience in financial services internal audit is a plus
  • Knowledge of the European financial regulations is a plus
  • Experience with evaluating risks and controls is a plus.
  • Data analytics affinities or experience is a plus.
