Start the day by discovering Euronext and understanding our role in financial markets. This session will explore how Euronext connects savings with investments, supports entrepreneurs and innovation, enables access to capital, and creates opportunities for citizens to invest and grow their financial future. Participants will also experience the excitement of financial markets through the Euronext Trading Game.

10h00 – 10h30 | Euronext Securities | Business Operations
An overview of Euronext Securities Porto within the wider Euronext Group, including the role of a Central Securities Depository (CSD), the evolution of Euronext Securities Porto, operational activities, career development opportunities, and the multicultural and collaborative environment across international locations.
Presented by Inês Dias, Senior Account Manager at Euronext Securities Porto. Inês joined Euronext as a trainee in Issuance & Corporate Actions before moving into client management roles. Currently working as Senior Account Manager, she has developed extensive experience in financial markets, client relationship management, and operational processes, while also managing the CRM platform used across Euronext.

An introduction to Euronext Securities IT, the technology function responsible for designing, building, and operating the platforms supporting Euronext’s post-trade business across Europe. The session will provide insights into multinational IT programmes, operational support, and the challenges of delivering critical financial market infrastructure.

An overview of Euronext Corporate Solutions (ECS), its role within the Group, and its portfolio of products and services. The session will explore how ECS supports clients through technology and operational capabilities, while highlighting the importance of product lifecycle management from concept to delivery.
Presented by Pedro Morgado, Product Lifecycle Management Officer at Euronext Corporate Solutions. Pedro joined Euronext Technologies in 2016 as a Project Manager for IT Market Services and later moved to ECS, where he led the Cloud & Operations team supporting ECS products and services. Since 2026, he has been part of the Product & Innovation team, focusing on product lifecycle management and process improvement.

An introduction to cybersecurity in today’s digital environment, covering the role of cybersecurity within organisations, key career paths in the field, essential skills for early careers, and the impact of cybersecurity at Euronext.
Presented by Ana Soares, Business Manager for the Group CISO at Euronext. Ana supports the cybersecurity organisation by aligning security initiatives with business objectives and operational activities, contributing to strategic planning, project management, stakeholder coordination, and operational efficiency.

An introduction to capital markets and the listing journey, explaining how companies raise capital, what it means to be listed on a stock exchange, and why companies choose to go public. The session will also present Euronext’s listing solutions and the role of the Primary Markets team in supporting companies throughout their capital markets lifecycle.
Presented by Rita Albuquerque, member of the Primary Markets team at Euronext. With experience in consulting, investment banking, and capital markets, Rita works closely with companies, founders, executives, and financial advisors throughout the listing process, supporting access to capital through equity and debt financing solutions.

A practical introduction to Internal Control, focusing on how teams manage risk, strengthen processes, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. The session will also highlight the importance of robust controls within a critical financial market infrastructure environment.
Presented by Tiago Novais, Internal Control Manager at Euronext. Tiago has more than three years of experience at Euronext across Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Internal Control, supported by a technical background in Informatics Engineering.
15h00 – 15h30 | Software development | Building and maintaining Euronext’s digital platforms
An introduction to software engineering at Euronext, including high-performance trading systems, low-latency architectures, C++ technologies, agile methodologies, and real-world applications in financial markets.
Presented by João Coutinho, IT Delivery Manager at Euronext with nine years of experience in trading systems technology. With a background in software development and technical leadership, João works closely with engineering teams across Porto and Paris to deliver high-performance market solutions.
15h30 – 16h00 | Workplace, Infrastructure & Security
An overview of the core infrastructure managed within Euronext IT, with a focus on system availability, operational resilience, and security. The session will also provide insights into the challenges of supporting large-scale critical financial technology environments.
Presented by Nuno Afonso, Head of System Solutions at Euronext since 2022, leading teams across multiple locations. With nearly 30 years of experience in IT, Nuno has held several leadership and technical roles, including IT Consultant, Team Leader, Services Manager, and CTO.

An introduction to AI activities, including Generative AI solutions and AI agents developed to improve operational efficiency across the organisations.
