High-level conference held during the week of 11-15 January 2027 across Athens and Lisbon
Fifteen years after the European sovereign debt crisis, Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece and Spain have undergone a profound economic transformation, strengthening their resilience, competitiveness and public finances while emerging as important contributors to Europe’s growth story.
Hosted across Athens and Lisbon, the conference will convene political leaders, economic decision-makers and market participants.
From bailouts to breakouts will not only reflect on a defining chapter of recent European history, but will use the experience of Southern Europe as a foundation for a forward-looking discussion on competitiveness, resilience, capital markets and growth.
