VLK 20th anniversary on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange

Twenty years ago Van Lanschot got a listing on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange. To celebrate this CFO Constant Korthout sounds the gong today, together with colleagues who have been working for Van Lanschot Kempen for twenty years.

In 1999, Van Lanschot announced it would seek a listing on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange in order to improve its access to the capital markets and boost brand awareness. By increasing shareholder numbers, Van Lanschot also wanted to emphasize its independence. In 2017, the ticker symbol VLK (Van Lanschot Kempen) was introduced.

Van Lanschot Kempen, a wealth manager operating under the Van Lanschot, Evi and Kempen brand names, is active in Private Banking, Asset Management and Merchant Banking, with the aim of preserving and creating wealth for its clients. Van Lanschot Kempen, is the Netherlands’ oldest independent financial services company with a history dating back to 1737.
