Top Woman of the Year sounds gong to celebrate election
Ingrid Thijssen, Board Member of Alliander and COO, has been named Top Woman of the Year 2016 and celebrates the title by sounding the gong.
With the election, The Top Woman of the Year Foundation wants to give female talent the attention they deserve. It offers successful women a platform to be visible and to be able to act as role models for other women.
Ingrid Thijssen is praised by the jury because of her choice for challenges, her courage and connective leadership style steered her organization through difficult years. The jury is convinced that she is a role model and inspiring example to young women – and men – and not just within her own organization, says Pamela Boumeester, jury president.
