Euronext congratulates Nearfield on its new unicorn status

This morning, Euronext Amsterdam held a special Gong Ceremony to honour Nearfield Instruments. Following the largest investment round in the Dutch Deep Tech sector ($380 million), Nearfield has reached a $1.6 billion valuation, evolving into a true unicorn. Nearfield builds metrology machines that detect chip imperfections at the atomic level - technology that makes a vital difference in the global semiconductor industry. This success proves once again that we can build world-class companies right here in Europe, attracting world-class capital close to home - without having to choose between being European and being global.
