Commencement of Trading of AKTOR Group’s Common Bond Loan

The Athens Stock Exchange today welcomed the management, executives, and partners of the AKTOR Group on the commencement of trading of its Common Bond Loan on the Main Market of the Athens Stock Exchange. The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the AKTOR Group, Mr. Alexandros Exarchou, rang the opening bell of the trading session.

“AKTOR Group has, for the first time in its history, proceeded with the issuance of a bond loan, aiming—through the strengthening of its capital base—to capitalize on opportunities for further growth and to create additional value for its shareholders. AKTOR Group is a characteristic example of a listed company that consistently leverages the financing opportunities provided by the Athens Stock Exchange. Throughout its stock market journey, it has raised €550 million, of which nearly €500 million in recent years, since January 2022” stated, among other remarks, the CEO of the Athens Exchange Group, Mr. Yianos Kontopoulos.

The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AKTOR Group, Mr. Alexandros Exarchou, stated: “Today is a significant day for AKTOR Group. We have successfully completed the issuance of an important common bond loan, the bonds of which are now traded on the Athens Stock Exchange. The oversubscription of the issuance, with the participation of many retail investors, reflects investors’ confidence in AKTOR and, at the same time, highlights the Athens Exchange corporate bond market as a significant alternative source of financing.
