Amsterdam Young Citizen of the Year 2016 visits Beursplein 5
Jeremy de Bel is Amsterdam Young Citizen of the Year 2016 and to celebrate this he sounds the gong at Beursplein 5. The Amsterdam Young Citizen of the Year is no less than 3 times a week in the kitchen of social restaurant Resto van Harte. The judges praised that he contributes so much and is involved in the whole proces
The Stadmakertjes Foundation (‘little citymakers’) organized this junior election for the fifth time. The city of Amsterdam and Rabobank support the initiative financially. In the last couple of months, everyone in Amsterdam could nominate his or her little hero, in the ages of 8 to 15 years. A jury chose the top 10 and the winner. The most important selection criterion: the winner should be someone who works selflessly on behalf of the cause, and has to set an example for others.
