Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Financial Controller to join the Finance team. The position will be based in Oslo, and start as soon as possible. You will report to the Chief Accountant.
You will primarily be responsible for:
- Acting as finance responsible in European market coupling projects
- Contributing to the financial reporting process
- Supporting financial analysis, budgeting and project controlling
- Following up on business agreements from a finance perspective
- Performing controlling and reconciliation within accounting
- Contributing to operational efficiency and improvement of ERP processes and deliveries
- Preparing ad hoc analysis and tasks for management and the organisation
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or similar (relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education)
- Recent graduates will also be considered
- Relevant experience from controlling, financial reporting or financial auditing is an advantage
- Highly skilled Excel user with advanced knowledge of financial systems
- Analytical and structured, with strong financial understanding
- Ability to understand and analyse complex assignments
- Able to balance high accuracy with tight deadlines

System Specialist – Market Integration
Nord Pool Group is looking for a curious, hands-on System Specialist to join our Market Integration Development team, enabling the expansion of European electricity markets into new areas.
Would you like to work at the very core of European power market development?
In this role, you will help build, configure, test, and evolve the systems that make cross-border electricity trading and market coupling possible across Europe. You will work where energy market design meets complex, business-critical IT systems.
You will join a highly international and collaborative environment, working with colleagues from many different countries as well as external partners such as market operators and transmission system operators across Europe. Together, you contribute to projects that shape how European electricity markets function and evolve.
What you will do
As part of an agile Scrum team, you will work hands-on with configuring, implementing, testing, and improving Nord Pool’s Market Coupling Systems.
You will:
- Enhance and implement new functionality in market coupling systems
- Configure and test market integration solutions
- Play a key role in quality assurance and system validation
- Work with system behaviour, interfaces, and data flows
- Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure smooth and timely deliveries
- Support the continuous development of business-critical systems connecting European electricity markets

Who are you?

Managing the daily and weekend operational processes for the day-ahead power market in Europe

Your Tasks
Your work will focus on growing Nord Pool’s presence in Western Europe.
- Attract new customers by managing the full sales cycle, from identifying and contacting potential customers to negotiating contracts and onboarding new participants, while also managing existing key accounts.
- Establish and expand a strong network with energy industry stakeholders, including customers, TSOs/DSOs, regulators and other public bodies.
- Represent and promote Nord Pool in external forums, trade fairs and conferences.
- Work with customers and external stakeholders to understand their needs and industry trends to help shape innovative and competitive offerings in the region.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Operations, Customer Service and Product Management.

Who are we looking for?
- 3-10 years experience in sales or stakeholder management, preferably within the energy or financial industry (short- and/or long-term markets).
- A degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- Fluency in English is required in addition to French or Dutch. Speaking intermediate or fluent Italian is an asset.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, primarily within Western Europe.
- You are innovative, energetic and ambitious, yet collaborative and structured, with strong analytical, communication and relationship-building skills.

What is the role about?
As a software developer, you will help build, maintain, and evolve our trading platforms, working primarily in C#/.NET. The systems you’ll work on are time-sensitive and handle significant data volumes, supporting critical business workflows.

Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for collaborative developers with solid experience in C#/.NET and SQL, who enjoy working on distributed systems and understanding how software behaves in production. You’re comfortable working with asynchronous flows, messaging, and service-to-service communication, and you value readable, maintainable code.
Experience with cloud services and message-based architectures is important. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, or Angular is a bonus. Most importantly, you’re fluent in English, curious about how systems work, and genuinely passionate about programming.
