ESG Team

Within Euronext, the ESG Department is in charge of promoting ESG financial products (indices, bonds, derivatives, equities etc.), developing thought leadership on sustainable finance as well as supporting Euronext clients in their ESG journey, improving Euronext’s own ESG ratings, co-implementing the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), delivering Euronext’s SBTI 1.5 degree roadmap, and training employees on ESG/Sustainable Finance topics. Our mission is to build capital markets for future generations. As ESG is a transversal topic that runs through the organization, the team works in collaboration with many geographies and teams to create and promote the ESG value proposition.

The mission

We are looking for someone either in their gap year or at the end of its studies for a 2 year VIE based in Athens (possibility to change for another location of the Group after one year).

Within the ESG team, the VIE will:

  • Support the ESG team the roll-out of the Sustainability Strategy
  • Provide qualified updates on evolving ESG regulations and competitors’ initiatives
  • Contribute to the structuration and animation of Euronext Sustainable Network, Euronext Sustainability Week
  • Participate to the organization and development of Euronext trading Game, part of the Euronext Foundation’s scope
  • Contribute to Euronext’s Sustainability Reporting (CSRD, rating agencies et.)

Profile

  • Final or penultimate year student from a Tier 1 university, business or engineering school, with strong academic credentials

Desired attributes and skills

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Perfect command of English (oral and written)
  • A good knowledge of the financial sector
  • A pronounced interest in Sustainability-related topics
  • Previous internship/position in ESG consulting, an ESG Department or in Sustainable Finance is a plus
  • Team spirit
  • Outside the box thinking
  • Appetite for communication, partnerships, events
  • Strong MS Excel and Powerpoint skills
