Dutch investor association VEB celebrates 100th year anniversary

Since 1924, investor association VEB has represented the interests of investors. Every reason to celebrate its 100th anniversary this morning with a loud Gong beat in Rotterdam, opening the trading day on Euronext Amsterdam.

The VEB is not only the oldest, but also the largest representative of investors in Europe. The anniversary year is kicked off today with an anniversary conference at the Rotterdam Doelen.

In a sold-out hall, filled with VEB members and prominent figures from the Dutch and European listed world, including Euronext CEO Stéphane Boujnah, many facets of the capital market will be the subject of discussion.

Completion of €30 mln Series C funding by Onera Health

Today Onera Health celebrated the closing of a €30M ($32M) Series C financing round with a Gong ceremony at Euronext Amsterdam.

The capital round, led by EQT Life Sciences and co-led by Gimv, solidifies Onera Health's leadership in sleep diagnostic solutions. Existing investors, including Innovation Industries, Invest-NL, imec.xpand, BOM and 15th Rock, also contributed to the successful financing.

Envipco – 25 years listing anniversary

Today marked Envipco's 25-year listing on Beursplein 5.

Founded in 1982, the company is a global leader in reverse vending solutions. With this, it has extensive experience in setting up Deposit Return Systems (DRS).

To celebrate this historic milestone, Tina Bergers, President, Container Collection Services at Envipco sounded the Gong this morning. She did so in the presence of René van Vlerken (Head of Listings at Euronext Amsterdam).

Knab launches Pension Investing

Knab is celebrating the launch of their new retirement investment offering. With Knab Pension Investing, experts are investing for the retirement of others.

Andrew Trythall, Domain Lead Savings and Investment at Knab, sounded the Gong today to celebrate the launch.

Cardano 31st edition best stock market expert

Every year, asset management firm Cardano interviews over a hundred stock market experts about their expectations for the AEX Index. They also predict what the best and worst stocks will be in the coming year. The best expert wins the prize for best stock market expert.

Winner of 2023 is Nico Inberg, Founder of Deaandeelhouder.nl, sounded the Gong today.

Listing Theon International PLC on Euronext Amsterdam

Christian Hadjiminas, CEO of THEON, sounds the gong to mark the listing of THEON INTERNATIONAL PLC on Euronext Amsterdam.

THEON designs and manufactures cutting-edge night vision and thermal imaging devices across both man-portable and platform-based systems. Its solutions allow the visualisation of images in low light or obscure conditions for defence and security applications. The company, founded in 1997, has its headquarters and main production facilities in Greece and has become one of the most relevant players in the industry, with a global footprint.

Kick-Off IPOready in the Netherlands

This year marks the 9th edition of IPOready, Euronext's educational program for high-growth and ambitious European companies considering a stock market listing.

With over 160 companies from 15 European countries participating, this is the largest and most diverse edition to date. In the Netherlands, 24 companies are participating this year.

Ferr-Tech wins 18th edition of the KVK Innovation Top 100

On behalf of the Ferr-Tech team, Richard Bruins, CEO of Ferr-Tech, sounded the Gong at Euronext Amsterdam today.

The occasion marked the company winning the 18^th KVK Innovation Top 100. The company is the global market leader in Ferrate (VI) applications for industrial (waste) water treatment.

5th anniversary Van Lanschot Kempen Global Listed Infrastructure Fund

On behalf of the Van Lanschot Kempen team, Jags Walia, Head of Global Listed Infrastructure, rang the Gong today at Euronext Amsterdam.

The occasion is the 5th anniversary of the Global Listed Infrastructure Fund. Van Lanschot Kempen introduced the fund in January 2019, offering investors access to listed infrastructure companies worldwide.

AkzoNobel celebrates 105th year listing anniversary

AkzoNobel today celebrated the 105th anniversary since its listing on Euronext Amsterdam in 1918.

The Dutch multinational, specializes in the production and supply of paints and coatings, was also one of the thirteen founding fathers of the AEX Index at the time of its inception in 1983. 

To celebrate this historic milestone, Maarten de Vries, CFO of AkzoNobel, sounded the Gong this morning. He did so in the presence of Simone Huis in 't Veld (CEO Euronext Amsterdam) and René van Vlerken (Head of Listings Euronext Amsterdam).

First Airbus A321Neo for Transavia

This morning, the gong was sounded by Marcel de Nooijer, CEO of Transavia, a subsidiary of KLM, the airline listed on Euronext Amsterdam. The reason for the gong was the arrival of the Airbus A321neo earlier this morning. With the arrival of the Airbus, Transavia is embarking on a new, sustainable chapter: among other things, the CO2 emissions of the fleet will be reduced by up to 15 percent.

The Transavia crew was welcomed this morning for a traditional Gong ceremony by René van Vlerken, Head of Listing at Euronext Amsterdam.

1-year anniversary of Gini Capital

Today, Gini Capital celebrated their 1-year anniversary by sounding the Gong.

In addition, Gini Capital launched their second fund called the Super Commodity Fund in August 2023.

This morning, for the first time in 2024, the sound of the gong echoed across the trading floor at Beursplein 5. A Gong that Euronext Amsterdam traditionally dedicates to all its members, issuers and business partners in the Netherlands.
