Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Senior Regulatory Advisor. The position will be based in Athens, and start as soon as possible. You will report to the Head of Regulation.
 

The Legal and Regulation department is dedicated to safeguarding the organisation's integrity by ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Its main missions include providing legal counsel, managing regulatory risks, and fostering a culture of compliance across the organisation. The department works closely with various stakeholders to navigate complex legal landscapes and support the organisation's strategic objectives.

As a Senior Regulatory Advisor, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and providing strategic advice on regulatory matters. You will play a key role in liaising with regulatory bodies and ensuring that the organisation's practices align with industry standards.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Monitoring the regulatory, supervisory and market developments relevant to the entities of Euronext group, working closely with the wide legal and regulation team located in the various jurisdictions where the group operates along the whole value chain that includes numerous market and post trade infrastructures.

  • Actively engaging with the business in relation to queries with respect to the interpretation of Rules and procedures, and provide support in the discussions with the regulators of the Euronext countries

  • Being the regulatory reference point in meetings with local authorities and support the organization in local regulatory matters.

Your profile:

  • Knowledge is required with reference to MIFID, EMIR, CSDR, Dora, Prospectus regulation, ect.

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a regulatory advisory role, preferably within the financial sector.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
