We offer curricular internships to students nearing the end of their studies, and extra-curricular internships to recent graduates looking for a first job opportunity coming from a university Master's degree programme and Level I and II Master's degrees.

Our internships are full-time, have a minimum duration of 6 months and involve constant mentoring by a company mentor and a team of professionals. 

Internships are based in one of our Italian offices: Milan, Rome, or Isernia, and can incorporate both on-site and remote working.

Areas and skills

Finance and Market Strategy

You will join the Primary Markets (Borsa Italiana or ELITE) or Post Trade (Euronext Securities Milan) teams in overseeing financial markets and related instruments in order to meet the demands of internal and external stakeholders. This role will allow you to become more confident in managing the dynamism of the market, embracing its current evolution and being part of the change itself.

We are looking for profiles with a background in Finance, Market Economics and Financial Intermediaries (Master's Degree).

Finance and Market Law

You will join the Primary Markets (Borsa Italiana) or Post Trade (Euronext Securities) teams in the study of financial market regulation in order to help the group comply with national and international law. In addition, the role will allow you to deepen the analysis of companies that want to list on the stock market, and listed companies that want to maintain their position with strength.

We are looking for profiles with a background in Law, specialising in Regulatory and Corporate Compliance (Master's Degree).

Finance and Quantitative Methods

You will join the Primary Markets (Borsa Italiana) or Post Trade (Euronext Securities Milan) teams in the study of quantitative analysis of financial instruments in order to manage data and reports that can be used to make strategic and important business decisions.

We are looking for profiles with a background in Finance, Mathematics and Statistics (Master's Degree).

Marketing & Communication

You will join the Primary Markets (Borsa Italiana) teams in organising financial conferences, events and training courses in order to support the company's products, activities and results worldwide. You will, in addition, have the opportunity to discover the financial environment and expand your professional network.

We are looking for profiles with a background in Marketing and Communication (Master's Degree).

internship description

The Business Internal Auditor is part of the Euronext Internal Audit Team located in Paris, Porto, Oslo and Milan and covering the entire group i.e. all locations and all entities.

Specifically, he/she, under the responsibility of the local internal audit responsible, will be located in Milan and will be considered as a member of the Euronext Internal Audit Team.

In this sense he/she will support to the execution of the audit plan and the department’s internal initiatives and projects. This implies:

  • Support the identification and evaluation of risks (of the relevant process scope or entity depending on the topic of the mission) to be included in the audit scope (could be concerning markets, CSDs, Clearing House, CCP, post trade & support functions such as IT, Compliance, Risk etc).
  • Contribute to the definition of the internal audit work program and perform the audit work on a given scope. Investigate, analyze, and conclude on potential weaknesses or anomalies identified. Propose realistic recommendation addressing the root cause in order to remediate on the identifies weaknesses.
  • Support the creation of the audit work documentation following the Euronext Internal Audit Methodology.
  • Participate to meetings with auditees supporting the identification and debriefing of findings, recommendations and the whole audit report.
  • Support the audit recommendations follow-up process.
  • Support the continuous monitoring and risk assessment annual exercise allowing to define the following year audit plan.
  • Support the reporting of the Internal Audit Function.
  • Participate in department’s internal initiatives and projects.
  • Contribute to the Internal Audit Community.

Candidate Profile

Education, Experience and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Fluency in English and Italian is a must – French, Portuguese, Dutch, Danish, Norvegian can be a plus but are not mandatory.
  • Excellent skills in Office Microsoft Pack (Excel, Access, Word, PPT).
  • Data analytics affinities or experience is a plus.
  • Experience with evaluating risks and controls is a plus.
  • Experience in financial services and financial regulations is a plus.
