Euronext Securities Milan – Junior IT Infrastructure Architect Internship

The Junior IT Infrastructure Architect will be working side by side with other IT Solution Architects to design and oversee overall architecture, following main principles and best practices established, ensuring align with business goals.

Key accountabilities

  • Collaborate with business and project stakeholders to understand current, information systems, and technology infrastructure.
  • Define and create design documents and diagrams of the organization's current and target-state enterprise infrastructural architecture.

Euronext Clearing provides an internship opportunity within Membership & Onboarding Team. The team is in charge of the admission to the Clearing and Guarantee System managed by CC&G, the monitoring of the membership requirements and the relationship and account management of clients. The team is also in charge of implementing technological solutions and new products with respect to the development of all CC&G products and services.

Borsa Italiana Spa, the company responsible for the organization and management of Italian financial markets and now part of the Euronext Group, provides an internship opportunity as Global Referential Intern. 
The Global Referential Team is responsible for the enrichment and management of referential into the trading platform for Cash and Derivative Markets. This includes the management of daily updates to internal and customer facing systems as well as ad-hoc requested and planned changes. The intern will report to the Global Referential Head and supports the team for all the activities and office functions with regard to the Instruments Reference Data and Trading Platforms management including Equity and Derivative Markets.

Lead the Group’s financial planning, budgeting and forecasting process, including leading the Group’s stress testing processes from a Finance perspective. Within the Risk & Compliance department, a team of more than 40 talented professionals in Risk, BCM and Compliance, spread across our various geographies, is ensuring to preserve the value assets and reputation of the company. Identifying and assessing risks, implementing mitigation actions, informing, and raising staff and business awareness, monitoring and ensuring compliance with the appropriate regulations are the core activities embedded in our team. 

Euronext is in the process of reviewing its Internal Control Framework, with a view on better integrating it on its Risk Management process and aligning it with recognized standards such as COSO. 

This review will be conducted in a project-like organization, on a scope covering the core-market businesses, IT and associated support functions. The expected outcome of this initiative is an updated control framework including detailed and documented processes, a control program, as well as reporting and decision-making venues. The introduction of a system designed to automate the maintenance and the execution of the internal control program is also considered. 

The intern's role will be to assist the Internal Controller in the project, and then to help on the execution of the control program. Within the Internal Control Team, the apprentice, under the responsibility of the internal controller, will be located in Milan.

Expected start date: November 2024
