Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We’re seeking a results-driven Equity Listing Intern to join our Business Development team in Paris, ideally from August/September 2026 for a 6-month internship. You will report to the Business Development Manager. 


Within the Primary Markets department, the Business Development team sets strategic priorities, steers pan-European projects and leads regulatory engagement,  in close cooperation with the business development and sales teams.

You will be primarily responsible for: 

  • Assist the Business Development team in projects to deliver on the Primary Markets business unit’s 2027 strategic ambitions to enhance Euronext’s value proposition and its position as a key listing venue among global exchanges.

  • Reinforcing Euronext listing franchise leading position focusing on Tech companies, SMEs and ESG-related topics

  • Enhancing the commercial coverage model and the value proposition towards existing and prospective issuers

  • Optimising the end-to-end customer experience for listed companies at various touchpoints and in collaboration with other client-facing teams

  • Improving the visibility and attractivity of Euronext as a listing venue to firms inside and outside Euronext’s core geographies

  • Harmonising regulatory frameworks and advocating for adequate rules, measures and initiatives to reinforce European equity capital markets competitiveness and attractiveness.

  • Your missions will include project management, preparation of presentations, market sizing and activity benchmarking vs. competing exchanges, financial modelling and analyses.

  • Taking part in the team’s effort and contribution to strengthening the department, you will also help bolster the team’s research capacities by contributing to know-how and content on specific sectors and/or topics related to equity capital markets.

  • On an ad hoc basis, you will also support the listing sales teams in their data analysis for commercial pitches to address clients, prospects or partners.

Your profile:

  • Final or penultimate year of master’s degree, specialising in business, finance, engineering or political science.

  • Previous experience, ideally in a strategy consulting firm and/or investment bank, or in a demanding position in the wider financial services industry and/or in a large corporate, would be a plus.

  • Good understanding of financial services.

  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of a wide span of complex strategic, operational and regulatory matters.

  • Impeccable oral and written English. French would be a plus.

  • Ability to articulate a strategy orally and in writing and to communicate key decision points clearly to senior stakeholders.

  • Fast learner, proactive behavior and entrepreneurial mindset (pragmatic, hands-on in execution, ability to recommend decisions under uncertainty).

About Primary Markets team

The Primary Markets department covering Equity, Debt and Funds securities is notably in charge of the business relationship with listed companies and those considering an IPO on Euronext markets. Our mission is to promote Euronext markets, explain the benefits of listing to business leaders, and help companies make the best possible use of financial markets once publicly listed. In addition, we support funding mechanics by creating and promoting new services and financing instruments, fostering the development and growth of the pool of investors active on Euronext markets, and actively promoting transparent public markets with stakeholders in the financial industry and with public authorities.

The Euronext Technology & Support Centre

The ambition of the new Euronext Technology & Support Centre is to build a strong team in Greece that will support the Business Lines, IT, and Operations functions across the Group.

In its initial phase, the Centre will focus on two key initiatives:

  • Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) Development Team: We will establish an in-house team responsible for developing and supporting Euronext’s Graphical User Interfaces, which are currently managed by an external provider.

  • IT Clearing Test Factory: We will create an in-house Test Factory to support the Clearing House based in Italy.

Initial roles within the Centre will include Backend Developers, UI Developers, Business Analysts, Application Managers, and QA Engineers.

Role and key responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Technology & Support Centre in Athens, with a dotted line to the Head of Software Factory at MTS, the MTS GUI Team Lead will lead the design and delivery of the new web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for our fixed income electronic trading platforms. You will coordinate the local team and liaise with technical product owners in the central MTS IT team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technical direction of a complex trading environment and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.

You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Owning the technical direction of the new web GUI, ensuring scalability, performance and maintainability for a complex trading environment

  • Leading a team of frontend and backend engineers in the design, implementation and testing of web applications, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices

  • Mentoring and coaching local team members, supporting their professional growth and fostering a collaborative culture

  • Collaborating closely with the CTO of MTS, Head of the Software Factory, project managers and technical product owners in the MTS IT team, providing estimates, technical risk assessments and progress updates

  • Translating functional and UX requirements into clear technical designs, APIs and implementation plans, including decisions on frameworks, libraries and patterns

  • Establishing and enforcing coding standards, code review practices and development processes (branching strategy, pull requests, definition of done, testing strategy)

  • Ensuring high code quality through automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and supporting QA in building and maintaining regression suites

  • Collaborating with external vendors and professional service providers on component libraries, integration points and delivery milestones

  • Working closely with DevOps/platform MTS teams and Euronext IT transversal teams to define CI/CD pipelines, build processes and deployment strategies for the web front end and related services

  • Contributing to technical documentation, architecture diagrams and knowledge transfer material to ensure long-term maintainability

  • Supporting incident analysis and production issues related to the new GUI, coordinating with central support and operations teams when needed.

Knowledge, Personality, Skills and Experience Required

  • Several years of experience as a tech lead delivering complex web applications, ideally in financial markets or other real-time, data-intensive domains

  • Proven track record in team leadership, including task breakdown, delegation, reviews, coaching and conflict resolution

  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise effectively with remote stakeholders

  • Experience collaborating in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) and working closely with product owners, business analysts, UX/UI designers and QA

  • Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and single-page application frameworks (React, Angular or Vue), state management, routing and component architecture

  • Backend knowledge (e.g. Java, backend-for-frontend pattern)

  • Solid understanding of web application architecture, including REST/JSON APIs, WebSockets, authentication and authorisation, performance optimisation, caching and error handling

  • Experience designing or working with component libraries/design systems and ensuring consistency across a large application

  • Familiarity with AI integration in the software development lifecycle, including experience using AI tools for code generation, test case creation, documentation, code reviews or automated refactoring

Euronext’s Technology & Operations teams cover a wide range of activities, including the operation of trading platforms and post-trade platforms, one Clearing House and four CSDs (prior to the integration of ATHEX). The IT function is responsible for designing, developing and testing new features and solutions to respond to the business and clients’ needs. IT also designs and builds the infrastructure that the company runs on and ensures that systems, infrastructure and market platforms are up and running.

IT teams provide end-to-end technology support across the Group, comprising approximately 800 staff primarily located in Milan, Porto, Paris, and the Nordics. Join Euronext Clearing’s QA team in Athens, part of our new Technology and Support Centre, and contribute to the quality and reliability of enterprise-grade clearing systems. You will work in a large-scale environment supporting critical clearing business processes, with more than 60,000 automated tests and growing technical complexity. As a QA automation engineer, you will design, develop and maintain end-to-end automated tests integrated with UI layers, APIs and backend databases, collaborating with international teams and stakeholders.

You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Analysing functional requirements and understanding the business logic of the clearing platform

  • Executing manual smoke tests to validate critical user journeys prior to automation

  • Designing, developing and maintaining end-to-end automated tests

  • Implementing UI browser tests and API tests (REST and GraphQL)

  • Validating test execution results through direct interaction with backend databases

  • Working on large Git repositories, including branch management, creation and review of merge/pull requests and structured peer code reviews

  • Studying, understanding and extending existing test codebases

  • Using AI-based tools to support manual smoke testing, improve and accelerate automated test development and extend internal AI agents developed within the QA team

  • Performing troubleshooting activities and root cause analysis in collaboration with development and operations teams

Knowledge, Personality, Skills and Experience Required:

  • University degree in computer science, software engineering or a related technical field (mandatory)

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken (mandatory), Greek preferred

  • Experience with Playwright is preferred, but equivalent experience with modern automated testing frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium is fully acceptable

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript

  • Daily use of Visual Studio Code or comparable IDEs

  • Experience working on large-scale automated testing projects

  • Ability to quickly read, understand and extend complex existing test codebases

  • Experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs

  • Good understanding of service-oriented and distributed architectures

  • Strong SQL skills, including writing and understanding complex queries, joins, subqueries and data validations

  • Solid experience working with relational database systems in enterprise environments

  • Hands-on experience with database analysis and backend data validation

  • Familiarity with IBM DB and/or MariaDB is a plus

Join our new Tech & Support centre in Athens as a UI Front-end Developer in the MTS GUI Development team. You will be part of a team of front-end developers designing and building the new web-based graphical user interface (GUI) for our fixed income electronic trading platforms. You will report to the Team Lead – MTS GUI Development, and work closely with your fellow front-end developers, backend engineers, business analysts, QA specialists, and technical product owners in the MTS IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to craft high-performance, real-time trading interfaces from the ground up and contribute to the modernisation of a leading European electronic trading platform.

You will be primarily responsible for:

  • Developing responsive, high-performance applications using React.js (or similar modern frameworks) for real-time fixed income trading workflows.

  • Implementing complex UI components such as order blotters, real-time price grids, trade tickets and market-data visualisations, ensuring low-latency rendering and smooth user experience.

  • Integrating with backend services via REST/JSON APIs and WebSockets for real-time data streaming, handling authentication, authorisation and error handling on the client side.

  • Building and maintaining reusable component libraries and design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across the application.
