Euronext Amsterdam - Kick-off pre-IPO program TechShare

For the 7^th time in a row Euronext has launched its successful pre-IPO programme TechShare. This pan-European pre-IPO educational programme supports European Tech companies aiming to go public in the next 1 to 3 years and is being organised in ten countries. In honour of the kick-off of TechShare at Euronext Amsterdam, René van Vlerken (Head of Listings Euronext Amsterdam) and his team welcomed representatives of both participants and partners for a traditional Gong ceremony.

Aegon Cappital – 10-year anniversary

Marianne de Boer, CEO of Aegon Cappital, sounded the gong this morning on the occasion of their 10th anniversary. Aegon Cappital is one of the permanent partners of Euronext Amsterdam. The company of Aegon Cappital was welcomed by Cees Colijn, Head of HR of Euronext Belgium and the Netherlands.

SPDR Climate Funds – gong ceremony

Philippe Roset, Head of SPDR ETFs van Noord Europa, sounded the gong this morning to celebrate the listing of the SPDR Climate Funds on Euronext Amsterdam. The funds are designed to allow investors to decarbonise their portfolios swiftly, effectively, and efficiently, with minimal disruption.

The company was welcomed by Robin van Rijn, Client Relationship Manager at Euronext Amsterdam.

International Woman’s Day – gong ceremony

On International Woman’s Day, UN Women, Woman in ETF and Global Compact Network Netherlands opened the markets by sounding the gong.

With this year’s theme being ‘Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow’, we recognise the contribution of women and girls around the world, who are leading the charge on climate sustainability and innovation.

Saskia Klep, CEO of Saxo Bank Netherlands and Britta Achmann, CRO of Flow Traders were welcomed by Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam. Enaam Ahmed Ali, the UN Women's Representative for 2022, had the honor of sounding the gong this morning to open the trading day.

Cabka – listing and first day of trading

Gat Ramon, Founder and Vice-Chairman of Cabka’s Supervisory Board, and his wife Heike, sounded the gong this morning to celebrate the company’s listing on Euronext Amsterdam. Cabka’s listing is the result of the legal merger with the SPAC Dutch Star Companies TWO, which listed on Euronext Amsterdam in November 2020. They were welcomed by Simone Huis in ’t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, and René van Vlerken, Head of Listing of Euronext Amsterdam.

Azerion – listing & first day of trading

Atilla Aytekin and Umut Akpinar, Founders and Co-CEOs of Azerion, sounded the gong this morning to celebrate the company’s listing on the stock exchange.

Azerion’s listing is a result of the legal merger with the SPAC EFIC1, which listed on Euronext Amsterdam in 2021.

Mr Aytekin, Mr Akpinar and their team were welcomed by Simone Huis in ’t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, and René van Vlerken, Head of Listing at Euronext Amsterdam.

FARE Capital – Launch and first investment of FARE Capital Impact Fund

Today, Mike de Leeuw, CEO of My Life Technologies, sounded the gong to celebrate the first investment of the FARE Capital Impact Fund. The fund of FARE Capital has invested in My Life Technologies, which produces and develops a special technique where drugs are delivered through the skin. The group was welcomed by Lennart Visser, Junior Product Manager and Robin van Rijn, Client Relationship Manager of Euronext Amsterdam.

SPEAR Investments I B.V. – SPAC listing and first day of trading

Jorge Lucaya, Co-Chief Executive Officer of SPEAR Investments I B.V., sounded the gong this morning on the occasion of the listing of SPEAR Investments I B.V., a Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC). He was welcomed by René van Vlerken, Head of Listing at Euronext Amsterdam.

MotorK – Listing and first day of trading

Marco Marlia, CEO of MotorK, sounded the gong together with his team to celebrate the listing of his company this morning. They were welcomed by René van Vlerken, Head of Listing at Euronext Amsterdam. MotorK is a technology company that delivers ‘software-as-as-service’ for the automotive retail industry. This includes sales software and CRM packages that support the full life cycle of the vehicle and help manage the customer journey.

Money Wise – Pension days

Neoletta Poelgeest, Director of Stichting Pensioenregister, sounded the gong to celebrate the start of the 11th edition of the Pensioen3daagse. Over the course of the three days, a number of organisations will try to encourage Dutch citizens to explore a pension fund. The guests were welcomed by Cees Colijn, HR Director of Euronext Amsterdam.

RTL Z – Start of the RTL Z Beursspel

Kees den Boer, two-time winner of the RTL Z Beursspel, sounded the gong this morning to mark the beginning of the autumn edition of the game. He was welcomed by Marianne Aalders, Communication Manager of Euronext Amsterdam. As part of RTL Z Beursspel, contestants have the opportunity to get to know different kinds of investment products.

Municipality of Amsterdam – birthday of the city of Amsterdam and start of project “Amsterdam 750”

F. Halsema, Mayor of Amsterdam, sounded the gong this morning to celebrate the city’s birthday and project “Amsterdam 750”. Imara Limon, director of Foundation Amsterdam 750 years, was present as well. They were welcomed by Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam. 

Ebusco Holding N.V. – Listing and first day of trading

Peter Bijvelds, CEO of Ebusco Holding N.V., sounded the gong together with his team to celebrate the listing of his company this morning. They were welcomed by Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, and René van Vlerken, Head of Listing at Euronext Amsterdam. Ebusco develops and produces 100% electric city and regional buses for the Netherlands and abroad.

French Embassy in the Netherlands

The French Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Luis Vassy, sounded the gong this morning at Beursplein 5 during a visit to get to know the heart of the Dutch capital world, which is has close ties to France. He and his colleagues were welcomed by Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, and René van Vlerken, Head of Listing of Euronext Amsterdam..

Metabole Community - Joining forces for metabolic disease

Megan Roodenburg, 14 years old, is one of many Dutch citizens diagnosed with a metabolic disease. Together, HRH Princess Laurentien of the Netherlands and Megan Roodenburg, rang the gong to raise awareness of metabolic diseases. Over the past few months, under the leadership of HRH Princess Laurentien, a foundation was established to connect patients, families, doctors, and charities for better treatment for all suffering from metabolic diseases. Simone Huis in ‘t Veld, CEO Euronext Amsterdam, welcomed them as they opened trading.

Beleggers Belangen – 10th anniversary of Dividend Portfolio

This morning, Menno van Hoven, Investment Specialist, sounded the gong to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Dividend Portfolio of Beleggers Belangen. The dividend portfolio helps subscribers achieve the highest possible return in the long term. The group was welcomed by Rauke Wouda, Senior Product Developer Derivatives Netherlands of Euronext Amsterdam.

Triple i -Dutch Investor Week

Responsible investing is becoming increasingly important now that more Dutch people are looking for a way to make a return on their money and savings. During Dutch Investor Week, there are multiple national initiatives where private investors can expand their knowledge. One of which is the Beleggersfair (Investorfair) on Friday 15 October. Euronext Amsterdam will be attending the fair as well. Rauke Wouda, Senior Product Developer Derivatives Netherlands, welcomed the organisation of this initiative, and Lisa Ettema, Beleggersfair Event Manager, marked the start of the week with a loud sounding of the gong.

Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy 2021

In celebration of International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO)’s World Investor Week 2021, Euronext colleagues from all seven exchanges ? (Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Milan, Oslo, Paris) came together and joined The World Federation of Exchanges to ? “Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy”.

#WIW2021 is a week-long, global campaign promoted by International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) to raise awareness about the importance of investor education and protection and highlight the various initiatives of securities regulators in these two critical areas.
