Role of Euronext's ETF Team

Euronext ETF team plays a central role in expanding one of Europe’s fastest-growing asset classes. As part of Euronext Strategic plan Innovate for growth 2027 we are strengthening the ETF ecosystem, attracting new trading participants—such as global banks, retail brokers, market makers, and proprietary trading firms—supporting ETF issuers and enhancing liquidity and accessibility across our pan-European platform. We operate across geographies, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive growth, expand our ETF product offering and implement innovative ways to trade ETF on Euronext venues.

Key responsibilities

·       Drive the engagement and onboarding of new ETF trading members, with a particular focus on German-speaking markets.

·       Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential trading members, market makers, and the sales teams of ETF issuers to drive business growth and revenue increase. This includes understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.

·       Lead meetings with the external stakeholders, ensuring close alignment & coordination with internal ETF sales and product teams.

·       Work closely with product teams to develop and position ETF products that meet market demands and client needs.

·       Facilitate client onboarding and provide support in operational issues resolution, thanks to strong knowledge of trading and exchange operations.

·       Ensure comprehensive coverage of local issuer sales teams to align business development efforts and growth objectives.

·       Identify new business opportunities and trends within the ETF industry based on market research. Develop strategic plans to capitalise on these opportunities.

·       Promote Euronext’s ETF platform and value proposition to both trading participants and ETF issuers.

·       Engage with industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the Euronext’s presence and reputation in the ETF market and to gather market intelligence.

Your Profile

·       Minimum 5-years’ experience in capital markets, preferably within an exchange, broker, or ETF issuer.

·       Strategic thinking with client focus

·       Ability to collaborate across the organisation and to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.

·       Expertise in trading or execution-related roles across ETF, equities, or other cash market asset classes.

·       Strong understanding of how exchanges and trading participants operate.

·       Structured thinking, with a growth & innovative mindset

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·       Agile, self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

·       Fluency in English and German, another European language is a plus.
