NN Group celebrates 10 year listing anniversary

Today the NN Group celebrates their 10-year listing anniversary on the Amsterdam stock market. The NN group was created in 1963 through a fusion between De Nederlanden and Nationale Levensverzekering-Bank. 

To celebrate this joyous milestone, Robin van den Broek, Head of investor Relations, opened the stock exchange today. The group was welcomed by René van Vlerken, Head Primary Markets The Netherlands & Germany CEE, Euronext Amsterdam.

Van Lanschot Kempen celebrates 25th listing anniversary

Van Lanschot went public in 1999. With the IPO, Van Lanschot aimed to improve access to the capital market and increase brand awareness. In addition, by broadening its shareholder base, it wanted to emphasize its independent and autonomous position. 

To celebrate the 25th listing anniversary of Van Lanschot Kempen, Jeroen Kroes, the company's CFO, rang the gong today. The group was welcomed by René van Vlerken, Head Primary Markets the Netherlands & Germany CEE, Euronext Amsterdam.

The London Tunnels lists on Euronext Amsterdam

Amsterdam – 27 June 2024
The London Tunnels PLC, established to transform a former World War II tunnel complex in the centre of London into a major tourist attraction, listed successful on Euronext Amsterdam.

The London Tunnels intends to develop a series of visitor attractions in the Kingsway Exchange Tunnels in central London by restoring, adaptively reusing and bringing the tunnels back to life, offering a combination of historical heritage experiences and a cultural, multi-sensory, digital experience. Right in the centre of London, one of the most visited cities in the world, the tunnels are envisaged to become the capital’s most spectacular underground tourist attraction.

The Listing on Euronext provides the Company with access to the capital markets, which it will use, following receipt of the planning permission, to commence the detailed feasibility, design and engineering work required to progress the project towards construction. Katy Leo, Chief Operations Officer of The London Tunnels and team sounded the Gong during a ceremony this morning, in the presence of René van Vlerken (Head of Listings Euronext Amsterdam), to celebrate the listing of the company.

Brunel Foundation: International Upcycling Day

A few years ago, Brunel started to upcycle used materials into something new as part of its Building New Habits strategy. Now, on International Upcycle Day, they are taking upcycling at Brunel to the next level, with their unique upcycled ConsciousDress. Marrying the Brunel Foundation’s sustainability activities with Brunel’s focus on innovation, Bruneller Amanda Linger, who sounded the gong today, travels the world in the ConsciousDress, using the power of Artificial Intelligence. The group was welcomed by Ibtissam Gzouny, HR Director NL at Euronext Amsterdam.

Fastned 5 years listing anniversary

Fastned has been building a European network of fast charging stations since 2012. Five years ago, they listed on Euronext Amsterdam. 

To celebrate this festive milestone, Lisselotte Kooi, Chairman of RvC opened the stock exchange. The group was welcomed by Simone Huis in 't Veld, CEO at Euronext Amsterdam, and René van Vlerken, Head of listing at Euronext Amsterdam.

Euronext celebrates 10 years since its IPO

Today marks the tenth anniversary of Euronext’s IPO.

From the IPO in 2014, Euronext’s ability to continuously reinvent itself has been a key driver of our success. The organisation was able to pilot the ten-year growth journey with an expansive series of strategic acquisitions, bringing a world of opportunities and possibilities for our clients and stakeholders. 

To celebrate this milestone, Euronext employees rang the bell in all locations worldwide. 
At Euronext Amsterdam, the team came together to sound the Gong, to open a new day of trading. 

Euronext welcomes eleven new Tech Leaders

Euronext today welcomed 11 new companies joining the Euronext Tech Leader segment. 

Launched by Euronext in June 2022, the Euronext Tech Leaders initiative builds on Euronext’s vibrant Tech ecosystem and longstanding commitment to technology companies. It created the Euronext Tech Leaders segment, which now contains more than 110 European companies listed on Euronext markets, as well as an index tracking the stocks in the segment, and a dedicated set of services for listed and private Tech companies.

To celebrate the inclusion to the segment, representatives of these Tech companies simultaneously rang the bell in four Euronext locations: Brussels, Paris, Oslo and Amsterdam. 

Mikael Clement (CSO at Envipco) and Nikolaos Malesiotis (Head of M&A and IR at Theon) joined René van Vlerken, Head of Listing at Euronext Amsterdam, on the Gong stage to open a new day of trading in the Netherlands.

Fresh and Soapy Dutch finalists of Euronext Blue Challenge 2024

Each year, dozens of young people from across Europe participate in the Euronext Blue Challenge. The programme, offered in collaboration with JA Europe, aims to teach young people about entrepreneurship, sustainable finance, and to enhance their financial literacy. 

In the Netherlands, six teams competed this year for the top spot. The company Fresh & Soapy ultimately took the win and had the honour of representing the Netherlands at the European final.

The winners were celebrated one last time this morning during a traditional Gong ceremony. 

They were welcomed by Dirk Donker (Head of Secondary Market Benelux and Germany) and Marianne Aalders (Communications Manager).

Finance Run celebrates 10-year partnership with Stater

 The Finance run is a sporty networking event for the financial services industry. Every year, more than 1,000 professionals from the financial sector participate in the run to raise money for KiKi and Emma at Work.
Employees of Euronext Amsterdam are more than happy to participate and join the efforts during this event. 

The company Stater has been a partner of this event for ten years now. 
To celebrate this anniversary, Mario Menheere, Managing Director of Stater The Netherlands, Stater N.V., opened the trading day.

Last broadcasting of ‘Voorbeurs’ by RTL Z

RTL Z, the Dutch business news channel, has been keeping its viewers informed about the latest developments in the capital markets, live from the Amsterdam exchange building at Beursplein 5, for many years. Today, after ten wonderful years, the curtain fell for the  programme ‘Voorbeurs’, which was broadcast every Monday to Friday before market opening. 

To commemorate this, Carien ten Have, one of RTL Z's regular presenters, sounded the Gong this morning to open the trading day. 

The group was welcomed by Leen van der Schoor, Global Head of Facilities & Real Estate at Euronext Amsterdam.

Launch of Portfolio Management System by Infront

Infront acquired the Swiss firm Assetmax in 2022 to strengthen its product offering in Europe. As a result, the company launched its new Portfolio Management System for Private Bankers, Asset Managers and Family Offices in the Netherlands in early May.

To celebrate this milestone, Zlatko Vucetic, CEO Infront, rang the gong today.

IMC celebrates 35th anniversary

IMC celebrated its 35th anniversary today. The trading house was founded in 1989 on the trading floor of the European Options Exchange, which later became part of Euronext Amsterdam.

InPost joined AEX ESG Index

This morning's Gong ceremony featured InPost S.A., on account of their inclusion in AEX ESG Index.

This index identifies the 25 companies that show the best environmental, social and governance practices among the 50 funds in the AEX and AMX index.

UBS achieves 45bn in sustainable ETFs

Today UBS celebrated raising 45 billion in assets under management in its sustainable ETF offering UBS Asset Management.

Welcoming Foreign Bankers' Association

This morning's Gong ceremony was dedicated to the Foreign Bankers' Association.

The association represents the interests of foreign banks operating in the Netherlands and hosts its annual meeting today. Today, various activities are organized to further promote dialogue between (foreign) banks in the Netherlands and stakeholders in the wider financial ecosystem.

For this reason, Shinsuke Kajiwara, Country CEO of Mizuho Bank Europe N.V., sounded the gong during a traditional Gong ceremony. The delegation was welcomed by Simone Huis in 't Veld, CEO of Euronext Amsterdam.

Saxo - Investing in a world of investment opportunities

In 1998, the Danish-based company Saxo opened many doors for the investment market by introducing one of the first online investment platforms for private investors. With the acquisition of the Dutch firm Binck Bank in 2019, Saxo has continued to seek for ways to lower access barriers to financial markets for existing and new investors. With a new fee structure, Saxo aims to further reduce the effect of costs on returns.

To celebrate this, Stephan Lugtenburg, COO at Saxo, struck the Gong.

Winner of digital investment competition for schools (Scholenstrijd)

Thousands of secondary school students from all over the Netherlands are taking part in Scholenstrijd, a digital investment competition where they playfully learn about the opportunities and risks of the stock market and investing.

Scholenstrijd, an initiative of Stichting Capital Amsterdam, is a semi-annual event that is part of the broader education platform BeleggerUitlegger.

Today, the autumn 2023 winner of the 'Best risk-return ratio' category, Samuel Groenendaal of Jacob-Roelands Lyceum from Boxtel was welcomed on the Gong stage by Albert Siepel, head of Index Product Management.

BIQH Financial Data Services celebrates 25th anniversary

This March BIQH celebrated its 25th anniversary.

For a quarter of a century, the company has acted as a service facilitator between data consumers and data vendors. Therefore, the relationship between BIQH and Euronext Data Services has existed for just as long.

To celebrate this company anniversary, Raymond van den Bedum, DevOps Engineer of BIQH opened a new trading day at Beursplein 5 this morning.
