SemmieWealth marks a new growth phase

SemmieWealth, formerly known as Semmie, opened the trading day at Euronext Amsterdam this morning with the traditional gong sound. CEO Bernadette Wijnings struck the gong on behalf of the asset manager to celebrate two important milestones: the recent rebranding of the company and the beginning of a new growth phase driven by trust, innovation, and customer centricity.

Launch of Flow Traders Investment Competition

On Monday 3 November, Ewout Schulpen, president of B&R Beurs, sounded the gong at Euronext Amsterdam to mark the launch of the annual Flow Traders Investment Competition.

Members of the society invest real money in groups, compete for the highest risk-adjusted return, and gain practical investing experience by managing their own funds.

Investor's Fair kick-off

Today, Julia van der Steen, Events Organization Assistant, sounded the gong at Euronext Amsterdam to mark the eleventh edition of the Investors' Fair, part of Investors' Week.

The Investor Fair is the largest investor event in the Netherlands and focuses on both novice and experienced private investors. Euronext is actively involved in this event as a knowledge partner.

L'Atelier des Options et Euronext : un partenariat pour démocratiser le trading des produits dérivés

Le 29 octobre 2025, Euronext a accueilli L’Atelier des Options lors de la cérémonie de clôture du marché parisien Euronext Paris pour célébrer un partenariat visant à démocratiser le trading des produits dérivés.

Cette collaboration reflète une ambition commune : rendre les produits dérivés plus accessibles, renforcer la pédagogie, notamment sur les options, afin d’aider les investisseurs particuliers à mieux comprendre leur utilisation, leurs mécanismes et leur rôle dans la gestion de portefeuille.

Transavia celebrates 60 years

Pieter Wensveen, CFO at Transavia, sounded the gong today to celebrate the firm’s 60^th anniversary.

Since their foundation in 1965, the company has grown into the Netherlands' second-largest airline and the country's largest holiday carrier.

Presentation of unique database on the Amsterdam stock exchange (1796-1940)

Today, the University of Groningen presents a unique scientific database on the Amsterdam stock exchange, the oldest stock exchange in the world, under the name NEDHISFIRM. The database contains financial data on both domestic and foreign companies that have been listed in Amsterdam since 1796.

The database, funded by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), is a valuable resource for researchers interested to study the economic history of the Netherlands and the significance of the Amsterdam stock exchange. The database was built using extensive material from the historical archives of the Amsterdam stock exchange, which are managed by the Stichting Capital Amsterdam.

Abe de Jong, professor of Business Finance at the University of Groningen, sounded the gong this morning together with colleagues involved in the project. They were warmly welcomed on behalf of Euronext Amsterdam by Paul Noordam, Senior Sales Manager.

Alistair Byas-Perry, Head of EU Investments Capital Markets at 21Shares, opened the trading day with a gong ceremony at Euronext Amsterdam to mark the launch of the XDC Network ETP (ticker: XDCN).

The network offers investors a liquid way to add XDC exposure to their portfolios, allowing them to benefit from XDC's role in blockchain-powered global commerce.

This morning, Euronext employees opened the trading day with a special gong ceremony in honor of World Mental Health Day.

This day is dedicated worldwide to raising awareness around mental health and the importance of good mental care. Euronext wants to put the topic of mental health on the map internally and externally. For this reason, the trading day was festively opened in all locations today.

Investment Officer expands with new international editions

This morning, the trading day opened with a gong ceremony marking the pan-European expansion of Investment Officer. Andjenie Mohan, Projectmanager at FD Mediagroup sounded the gong.

Kick-off ABN AMRO Clearing Global Graduate Programme

This morning, the young talents of the ABN AMRO Clearing Global Graduate Programme were welcomed at Euronext Amsterdam to open a new trading day and get a glimpse of the Amsterdam Stock Exchange. During the first month, industry experts, professional trainers and ABN AMRO Clearing managers facilitated sessions to provide them with a solid foundation.

Euronext launches ETF Europe, a fully integrated European ETF marketplace

Today, Euronext sounded the gong alongside its valued clients across the ETF ecosystem to celebrate the launch of Euronext ETF Europe, the new market model unifying European ETFs. 

To mark this major milestone, Euronext simultaneously held celebrations across 4 of its venues: Amsterdam, London, Paris and Milan.

Holland America Line is going to expand

The Holland America Line team opened a new trading day this morning to celebrate the arrival of the Zuiderdam cruise ship, which will depart from Amsterdam starting in 2027.

With this, Holland America Line returns to the capital, expanding its fleet to three ships sailing from Dutch ports. With a total of 55 sailings in one season, Holland America Line underscores its historic connection with the Netherlands and highlights the growth of the cruise market.

Randstad celebrates 65 years Anniversary

Today, trading opened at Euronext Amsterdam with a gong ceremony, in celebration of Randstad’s 65^th anniversary. This occasion highlights Randstad’s legacy as a leading partner in shaping the future of talent.

On 24 September 2025, Euronext celebrated the launch of the first-ever Mini Cash-Settled Futures on main European Government Bonds with bell and gong ceremonies across its Milan, Paris, Amsterdam and London offices.

Fabrizio Testa, CEO of Borsa Italiana took the stage with clients, partners and teams to highlight this significant innovation in European financial derivatives.
