DevFactory Trading department aggregates all development done at Euronext for our trading services and is based in Porto and Paris.

Job Description Summary

A QA engineer will be responsible of the quality standards and its improvements during the development phases during the lifecycle of the software. Such role implies that the person will collaborate with all stakeholders during development, testing and acceptance phases and takes responsibility for writing specific QA documentation (test cases, QA reports ...) and well as being an advocate of good practices in both testing and development for DevFactory Trading. For this, we are looking for someone technically qualified in an IT environment, through their studies and previous work experience, proactive and eager to learn our ways of working while contributing to their continuous improvement.
This position may require traveling to other locations, as such France.

Role Summary

The QA Engineer identifies potential gaps and proposes component-level tests based on application requirement standards to guarantee successful implementation of core trading applications. Depending on their level of expertise, the Test Analyst has further responsibilities in influencing the evolution of the test analyst team, reviewing test plans proposed by junior-level staff and overseeing successful implementation of applications.

Within Euronext, the Listing Department is in charge of the relationship with listed companies and those contemplating an IPO. Our mission is to promote financial markets and explain to business leaders the benefits of listing and how to better use financial markets once public. In addition, we are fully supporting a dynamic through creating and promoting new services and financing instruments, developing  the investors’ axis, bringing together the ecosystem and lobbying towards European public authorities.

Within the Listing Department,  the Analyst Team is the statistical and information knowledge center. The intern will be involved in the launch and development of new initiatives (targeting innovative Tech SMEs across Europe, Family owned-businesses, etc.) and will participate in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reports on market activity from a Listing perspective.

Launching our new strategy in 2019, “Let’s Grow Together 2022”, within the listing department six pillars of growth were identified. Here the intern will play a key role in the further development of SME Qualitative Research. Facilitating the real finance Euronext Amsterdam is identifying ways in which to encourage SMEs to access the capital markets for their financing needs. Working collectively with the Netherlands ecosystem (major banks, auditors, institutional and private investors) Euronext is rolling out an SME plan.

The internship will run for a duration of six months, starting in February 2022, in which the candidate will be compensated €500 monthly.

  • Conducting industry, market and company-specific research.

The Regulation Advisor is responsible for ensuring that Euronext regulatory obligations are discharged appropriately at all times. Applications from issuers of debt, funds and exchange traded funds are reviewed for suitability for admission to the markets of Euronext.

Key accountabilities

Key Responsibilities

As a successful software (SaaS) company, iBabs has expanded significantly over the past few years in its domestic market (dominant player in the Netherlands) and internationally. It is now present with actives operations in the Netherlands, the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Nordic countries.

The company is now looking to structurally upgrade all of its processes, smoothen relationships between Sales, Operations, Product and Technology, and is thus actively seeking for a Business Manager to complete this critical role.

The  Business Manager is a newly created role within the company, reporting into the Managing Director and be part of the Management Team of iBabs. The successful candidate will have the below key responsibilities:

  • The Business Manager will support the Managing Director of iBabs in all the business-related activities, with a scope spanning everything from Operations to Project Manager or Administration ;
  • In particular, the Business Manager will:
    • Review existing business processes, assess their maturity, and draw a roadmap to upgrade them when applicable ;
    • Strengthen the project management capacity of the company to facilitate relationships between all business-related departments ;

  • The successful Business Manager should be able in only a few months to own the critical data and KPIs about the activity and the company, and support the Managing Director of iBabs in using it (e.g. in Marketing) ;
  • The Business Manager will overlook the monitoring of the competitive environment of iBabs and constantly chase updates in pricing grids, new features or geographic expansion of the competition.
