Euronext, leading listing venue in Europe - H1 2021 results
With 103 equity listings during the first semester of 2021, Euronext reinforces its position as the leading listing venue in Europe, outperforming our competitors. We welcomed six large caps with international profiles to our markets: InPost, Technip Energies, CTP, Allfunds, Believe, and Aramis. We also welcomed 87 growth SMEs and 10 SPACs, making up 50% of the total number of SPACs listed in Europe in the first semester of this year.
Our markets continue to attract Tech companies and innovation-driven projects, representing more than half of new listings so far this year.
Euronext is also the main venue for equity financing in Europe, with secondary capital raised surpassing €40 billion in the first semester of the year, equal to the amount raised for the full year 2020. We are the partner of choice for corporates who want to finance their strategic investment and development projects through equity financing on public markets.
Beyond equity, we are the number one venue worldwide for bond listings, with over 52,000 securities listed on Euronext markets.
With ESG at the centre of our strategy, Euronext is more than ever the venue of choice for sustainable projects: we have welcomed more than 30 Cleantech companies and over 250 ESG bonds since the start of the year, and we have over 40 European ESG indices.
