Job Summary

Euronext is currently looking for a Project Management Officer Analyst - Trainee to work closely with PMO Lead and Transformation team reporting to the ITMS Steering Lead PMO, ensuring all initiatives and KPIs are tracked across the different teams. With the mindset of continual improvement and the ability to detect and implement new controls. Will also get a deep understanding with Project Management by leveraging close contact with both IT and business stakeholders and ensuring the quality and on-time delivery of activities and projects.

The candidate should expect a close contact with Financial Markets, with a very in-depth knowledge of Trading. Will also act as the point of contact for various project-related topics and new initiatives, by organizing and lead regular meetings to safeguard internal organization and day-to-day project execution.

This role is based in Porto, with colleagues based in different locations (France, Italy, Portugal, The Netherlands, Ireland and others), making strong communication skills a key factor.

Key Accountabilities

Support in KPI Framework and Data Analysis:

  • Assist in the collection and analysis of KPIs from various IT teams.

  • Help maintain the KPI framework, ensuring its accuracy and relevancy.

  • Support in analyzing KPIs to determine areas of focus and improvement.

  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations based on KPI findings to IT management and group stakeholders.

Communication Support:

  • Aid in the development and dissemination of communications within the IT teams.

  • Assist in ensuring the quality and consistency of external communications.

Workshop Coordination:

  • Help in organizing and coordinating weekly workshops with IT management.

  • Take minutes and track the follow-up actions from these sessions.

Process Improvement and Project Support:

  • Provide administrative and project support to the PMO Lead.

  • Assist in various transformation initiatives as directed by the PMO Lead.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in Project Management and how to design, build and maintain software within the financial sector.

  • Strong interest in IT.

  • Basic understanding of Data Analysis and KPIs.

  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Fluency in French and English. Italian or Portuguese is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Jira or similar Project Management tools is a plus.
