The opportunity
The position is within the Euronext M&A team, which has a strong track record of executing value-accretive acquisitions across a diverse range of sizes, geographies, and deal structures, as well as successful divestments. This is a unique opportunity to join a highly experienced team within an ambitious organization, operating in a dynamic and fast-evolving sector.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive company- and industry-level research
- Conduct sector monitoring and screening to identify potential acquisition targets
- Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior management, the Board, and strategic committees
- Develop, maintain, and update financial models
- Perform valuation analyses using appropriate methodologies (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions) to assess potential acquisition opportunities
- Support the organization and coordination of due diligence processes, as well as post-closing integration activities
Who are we looking for
- Final- or penultimate-year student from a Tier 1 business or engineering school, with strong academic credentials
- Prior successful internship experience in Corporate Finance, preferably in M&A, Investment Banking or Strategy Consulting
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in a third language would be a plus
Desired skills
- Strong interest in, and understanding of, financial market infrastructure and the FinTech industry
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Fast learner with a proactive attitude and entrepreneurial mindset
