Repo Business Development Manager

MTS is seeking a Repo professional with a strong market presence and an established network to join the London team as a Repo Business Development Manager. This strategic client-facing role is central to strengthening and expanding MTS’s relationships across the European money markets, with a particular focus on the MTS Repo and BondVision Repo platforms.

The successful candidate will drive client engagement, deepen market partnerships, shape the MTS repo product offering and act as a leading representative of MTS within the wider Repo community. They will work closely with Product Management, Sales, Technology and senior leadership to ensure that client needs are understood and incorporated into business and product strategies.

A strong understanding of the Repo market, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, relationship-led approach are essential.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain leading position in Italian D2D Repo and capitalise on growth opportunities across D2D EGB Repo.
• Build, manage and enhance client relationships, ensuring MTS remains a trusted partner in European Repo Market.
• Support the Head of Product by gathering business requirements, drafting change requests, and working with internal teams and customers to test and release product updates.
• Carry out data analysis based on internal and external data sets to support the Head of Product Development in development decisions and to inform customer presentations.
• Work with the technology team to oversee front-end and back-end developments.
• Lead the sales effort for Repo, working closely with Euronext and MTS marketing teams to identify opportunities to promote MTS.
• Support and advise in presentations to current and prospective members.
• Contribute to cross-business strategic initiatives in collaboration with Euronext colleagues.
• Develop good understanding of the broad MTS fixed income offering and strong awareness of the competitor landscape across money markets.
• Represent MTS in industry forums, working groups and conferences as a recognized market advocate.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

• Solid Repo market experience, with a strong understanding of market structure and liquidity dynamics.
• Well-established network across the Repo community, ideally both buy and sellside.
• Willingness to learn and to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with product, sales and technology teams, familiarity with electronic trading platforms is a plus.
• Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present market data effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
