Euronext Regulated Markets

Regulated Markets operated by Euronext (Securities and Derivatives)

Euronext operates the following Regulated Markets :

Securities Markets i.e. in Amsterdam, Brussels, Dublin, Lisbon, Milan, Oslo and Paris;
Euronext Derivatives Markets i.e. in Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon, Milan, Oslo and Paris.

The integration of Euronext’s Regulated Markets in Europe has been fostered and accompanied by regulatory harmonisation. A single Euronext Rule Book governs trading on all Euronext Securities and Derivatives Markets. It contains both harmonised and non-harmonised - or local - rules. The regulators in Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway and Portugal approve the relevant market rules, either collectively (Book I) or in respect to their own jurisdictions (Book II).

Notices implement and interpret the provisions of Rule Book I and apply to all Euronext markets (unless otherwise specified). Notices that are specific to Securities or Derivatives Markets are identified as such.

The harmonised rules

Rule Book I contains the Harmonised Rules, including rules of conduct and of enforcement, designed to protect the markets, as well as rules on listing, trading and membership;
In respect of Borsa Italiana, rules in Book I shall only apply when explicitly incorporated in the relevant Book II and in the accompanying Instructions and Guides;
Notices regarding the organisation of Trading ;
Notices regarding the organisation of Members;
Notices regarding the organisation of Issuers.

The non harmonised rules

Rule Book II and Notices applicable to Euronext Amsterdam, the regulated market operated by Euronext Amsterdam NV;
Rule Book II and Notices applicable to Euronext Brussels, the regulated market operated by Euronext Brussels SA/NV. ;
Rule Book II and Notices applicable to Euronext Dublin, the regulated market operated by Euronext Dublin (The Irish Stock Exchange plc);

In particular, in the context of the Borsa Italiana (BITA) migration to the Optiq trading system, the drafts reflect the harmonized rules and notices that are planned to apply upon the respective relevant phases of BITA migration. They may evolve before the migration time.
