Key accountabilities

Your profile

  • In-depth technical knowledge in one or several of the following field of expertise:

  • IaaS production environments (systems, networks, End User Computing…)
  • Infrastructure as code approach (Terraform and CloudFormation)
  • CI /CD pipelines and GitLab CI/CD, Sonarqube, etc.
  • Languages/frameworks: Java, Python, JavaScript, Node, Angular, React, SQL, Bash/Shell.
  • Experience in managing and delivering software or infrastructure development projects
  • Experience in process improvement, re-engineering and root-cause analysis/resolution

Join us as a Sales & Relationship Manager Europe!

Role Overview: The Sales & Relationship Manager will play a crucial role within the Sales & Relationship Manager division, focusing on ELITE business and commercial development across the different EU geographies where ELITE is developing its presence (ie CEE Region, Netherland, Spain, Greece).

The responsible person will report directly to the Head of Sales in driving the commercial expansion of standard offerings by enhancing and developing relationships with existing clients as well as acquiring new clients and partners.

Workplace: Italy (Milan)

Secondary possible workplace: Paris or Amsterdam

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic commercial development: develop and execute an effective commercial plan to generate new business and deepen strategic relationships within Euronext core geographies
  • Revenue management: develop and maintain revenues with existing and new clients by leveraging on the value proposition of product /service
  • Relationship management: make tactical and strategic contacts at the management level through client networks and other channels
  • Client success: ensure that the service/product is successfully delivered to the client and communicate with the client to fix potential issues. Identify cross-selling possibilities
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with local industry partners, banks, advisors and investors to build a robust support network for ELITE International companies
  • Product development support: support and coordinate with the Product team in development of new products and maintenance of existing products in line with client requirements
  • Product & market development: build specific, sector-oriented knowledge for the various products. Identify market developments and translate them into sales activities (outbound)
  • Partner with Euronext Business / support functions Partner to cultivate cross-functional relationships delivering high priority strategic initiatives

Candidate Profile/ Key Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Finance  or other fields relevant to the position
  • Experience: Proven experience (at least 4-5 years) in a business development or sales/relationship management roles. Corporate Finance or Financial Advisory or Capital Markets background are a plus
  • Skills:
    • Excellent client facing skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the client’s organization.
    • Strong commercial acumen and strategic awareness.
    • Pan-European business experience developing relationships and products in multiple geographic locations
    • Available to work at Euronext Milan office and travel frequently in multiple geographic locations
    • Excellent written and oral presentation skills (in English, other languages as a plus), an ability to combine attention to detail with the wider strategic view.
    • Rigorous project management skills: ability to leverage internal and external relationships, autonomy and determination to drive forward projects, provide clear business input into functional requirements.
    • Strong organizational skills for a timely update in the internal reporting systems – CRM, Business Reports, etc.
    • Collaborative, open, pragmatic, customer oriented and numbers-driven approach to work.
    • Knowledge of Euronext’s market model, rule book, service offer, the buy-side and sell-side landscape valued

Become a tour guide for the AEX Experience

In 2013, Euronext Amsterdam, in collaboration with Stichting Capital Amsterdam, launched the AEX Experience - an educational initiative aimed at enhancing the financial literacy of students. This project aligns with Stichting Capital Amsterdam's educational goals, alongside promoting market financing, stock exchange activities, and preserving Dutch stock market heritage. The AEX Experience has been a successful concept, often paired with tours of De Nederlandsche Bank by schools. After a decade, the experience is being upgraded to resonate with today's youth and is set to reopen in September 2025 following a comprehensive renovation.

The AEX Experience offers visitors an immersive journey into the world of finance, providing insights into the workings of investing, the AEX index and the Amsterdam stock exchange. Our mission is to educate and inspire individuals about the financial markets through engaging and informative tours.

The AEX Experience is a 1-hour tour designed for scholars and students aged 15-21 years. It offers:

  • An opportunity to discover the world of investing.
  • An interactive and educational experience where they learn about the history of the stock exchange.
  • A chance to enhance their financial knowledge by participating in the 'Investing' course and applying what they have learned in the Investors Game.
  • A challenge to see if they can become the best investor and make the most profit.

The AEX Experience is a joint initiative by Euronext Amsterdam and Stichting Capital Amsterdam, the independent foundation that promotes the importance of the public capital market in the Netherlands. Goal of the AEX Experience is to increase the financial literacy of future generations of investors in the Netherlands.

About the Position

We are seeking enthusiastic tour guides, for the execution of our educational tours. As a guide, you will be the face of the AEX Experience,  leading visitors through our interactive tour through the building. Your enthusiasm will ensure a memorable experience for all guests.

Flexible working hours (during office hours only)

We offer all tour guides comprehensive training on tour content and visitor engagement, making this role a perfect opportunity to work in a historic and educational setting. The tours will take place from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 – 17:00 CET. You will have the freedom to plan your own shifts, allowing you to combine this role easily with your studies or other commitments.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead groups of visitors through the AEX Experience, delivering informative and captivating narratives about the stock exchange and financial markets.
  • Address questions, provide additional information, and ensure a positive and educational experience for all guests.
  • Simplify financial concepts to make them accessible to scholars and students. 
  • Gather visitor feedback to help improve tour content and overall experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Your profile

  • Native Dutch speaker with fluent English.
  • A degree or current enrollment in Finance, Economics, History, or a related field is preferred (HBO/University level).
  • Comfortable speaking in front of diverse groups and tailoring presentations to various audience types.
  • Friendly, approachable, and capable of engaging with visitors of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and products is advantageous.

As part of its societal role, Euronext Amsterdam opened an educational and interactive tour for students in 2014: the AEX Experience.
