Euronext annonce ses volumes mensuels d'activite d'aout 2014

Amsterdam, Brussels, Lisbon, London and Paris – 3 September 2014 –  Euronext, the primary exchange in the Euro zone, today announced trading volumes for August 2014.

  • Cash markets average daily volume increased 11.6% for the month of August 2014 compared to August 2013, an average daily volume increase of 13% year-to-date.
  • ETF trading saw a steep rise, with average daily volumes up 40% from August 2013 and assets under management set a new record of €187.7 billion.
  • Euronext reported a strong rise in trading volumes for CAC40 futures and for its milling wheat futures contract, up 11% and 7% respectively year-over-year.
  • The number of orders in warrants and certificates hit a record high of 161.6 million on 1 August, illustrating the robustness of our IT infrastructure.
