Welcome Macquarie as new member on Euronext markets

On 18 November 2025, we welcomed Macquarie as a new member of the Euronext markets.

Through its Commodities and Global Markets business, Macquarie has joined Euronext Amsterdam and Paris as: 

• Clearing and Trading Member for the Commodities markets 

• Trading Member for the Equity Derivatives markets 

By joining the Euronext markets, Macquarie further expands the range of derivatives products available to its clients, including agricultural (Euronext MATIF), power with Euronext Nord Pool (in 2026), and financial instruments. 

Camille Beudin, Member of the Executive Committee and Chief Diversification Officer at Euronext, welcomed Macquarie’s team, led by John Cunningham, Managing Director - EMEA Head of Futures Clearing Sales, and Richard Jones, Senior Vice President - Head of Futures Clearing Sales, for a bell-ringing ceremony at Euronext Paris. 

This onboarding reflects our shared commitment to deepening liquidity and enhancing market access across Europe. 

L'Atelier des Options and Euronext: a partnership to make derivatives trading more accessible

On 29 October 2025, Euronext welcomed L’Atelier des Options for a closing bell ceremony at Euronext Paris to celebrate a partnership aimed at making derivatives trading more accessible.

This collaboration reflects a shared ambition to strengthen education, particularly on options, helping retail investors better understand their uses, mechanisms, and role in portfolio management.

Celebrating the launch of Mini Cash-Settled Futures on main European Government Bonds in Paris

On 24 September 2025, Euronext celebrated the launch of the first-ever Mini Cash-Settled Futures on main European Government Bonds with bell and gong ceremonies across its Milan, Paris, Amsterdam and London offices.

Delphine d'Amarzit, CEO of Euronext Paris and Anthony Attia, Global Head of Derivatives & Post Trade and Member of the Executive Committee took the stage with clients, partners and teams to highlight this significant innovation in European financial derivatives.

 Listed on Euronext Derivatives Milan, Euronext's Mini Bond Futures provide unparalleled accessibility and flexibility to hedge and gain exposure to government bonds. 

It represents a major step forward in the fixed income space, meeting evolving market demand and delivering added value to investors.

Launch of Mini Single Stock Options in Paris

On 21 May 2025, the Euronext Financial Derivatives team rang the Bell in Paris to celebrate the recent launch of the Mini Single Stock Options on French and Dutch underlyings.

These new listings complement the standard contracts already available on the Euronext markets and aim to boost retail participation by making options trading more accessible. They offer investors a broader range of choices and new hedging opportunities.

With a smaller contract size of just 10 shares, compared to 100 shares for standard options, they are designed for retail investors looking to gain greater exposure to higher-priced stocks on Euronext or to hedge existing positions with reduced financial commitment and lower risk.

Building on its strong existing options trading offering, the launch of Mini Single Stock Options is reinforcing Euronext's position as the leading European hub.

Welcoming Maven as market maker across all CAC 40 Options maturities

On 28 January 2025, the Euronext Financial Derivatives team welcomed Maven Securities to Euronext Paris to close the trading day.

This moment marks Maven’s role as a market maker across all CAC 40 Index Options maturities, including daily and weekly options - an important step forward for Euronext's derivatives market.

Maven Securities will bring enhanced liquidity and tighter spreads for the benefit of investors trading CAC 40 Options. With rising volumes (+20% in 2024), this development will further strengthen growth and appeal of these contracts.

Launch of Daily Options on the CAC 40 Index

On 26 February 2024, Euronext celebrated the launch of the Daily Options on the CAC 40 Index with a closing bell ceremony organised in its Paris office.

Thanks to Saxo Bank and Susquehanna for joining the celebrations and partnering Euronext to provide investors with enriched trading opportunities on the financial derivatives market.

Since the launch, the CAC 40 Daily Options have been traded on a day-to-day basis, facilitating short-term trading strategies and offering greater flexibility to navigate market fluctuations.
